Histories are written by men of different ideology and phylosophy.
If you were the wisest man in the world and became a leader of Cambodia, what would you do to cope with:
1. Ideological Wars (Cold Wars in the the 50's to 80's) between the Capitalists,the Communists, and the Socialists - Western Bloc, Eastern Bloc.
2. The threat by the Supper Powers
3. Expansionist and hegeminist China and Vietnam.
4. The US imperialists, and so on.
General view is that "All Cambodian leaders are good, just only some are less good than the others"
But, There are a number of factors and reasons that made those leaders BAD. The political situtation and emerging circumstances; the Ambitions of the supperpowers, and the Vietnam opportunist, and the geographical conditions of Cambodia and the most important REASON is you yourselves WHO are the citizens of Cambodia.

Where did you get the info that Samdech Choun Nat was assassinated by Sihanouk? I find out from my older sister in recent visit to Cambodia that Samdech Choun Nat was my mother's uncle. I've surfed the webs for more on his bio but the results are limited. I am very curious about his life and achievement, so please tell me more about him. Thanks.

Samdach Preah Sangha Choun Nat was one of the Kansaign-Sar's founder.The chairman was ex King N.Sihanouk who had given named to the movement.Mr Late Thach Chea was the liason officer of that group.
Later,Sihanouk had changed his mind to collaborate with Yiekcong by not involving anymore with Krom Kansaign-Sar.Samdeach Choun Nat was furious & upset with Sdach Sihanouk.
