BANGKOK - Five Thai troops were wounded and one Cambodian soldier was killed Wednesday in a military clash on a disputed stretch of border near Cambodia's ancient Preah Vihear Temple, a senior Thai army official said.
Lt. Gen. Wiboonsak Niphan, chief of the Second Army Region, told state-run television that the five Thai troops were not seriously injured, and added that three Cambodian troops were also wounded.
