Remains of fallen Khmer Soldiers

Cambodian soldiers stand guard near the bodies of two soldiers who were killed during an exchange of gunfire between Cambodia and Thai troops on Wednesday, at Sraem village in Preah Vihear province, 543 km (337 miles) north of Phnom Penh October 16, 2008. Thai and Cambodian troops fired rockets and small arms at each other on a disputed stretch of border on Wednesday, killing two Cambodians and prompting Bangkok to tell its citizens to return home. Both sides accused each other of firing first in the clash, which comes amid huge political instability in Bangkok, with protesters in a long-running street campaign urging the army to launch a coup against the elected government. So so sad to see our brother died. Did any body know that our Khmer troops protect our Motherland or just protected some of high ranking's benefit? The reason I ask because I do not want to see our brother sister died for nothing. How many more Khmer soldier have to died before the Khmer government start to bring these problem to the United Nation? Or maybe they don't care because none of their family member
have to die. May God bless your sole and spirit my brothers and I don't know your survive family will get a good care from Khmer leader or not?

May you soul lie in peace. All Cambodian people will remember what you had done for our nation. You are my hero.

I think we should use our flag to cover thier body.

I think we must creat a charity program to help thier family. CTN or BAYON foundation must think about this.

we will try our best to help thier family.

This is the politics between the former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin's brother-in-law and Mr. Hun Sen; also, of course, the PAD leaders and their followers have knowledge about this, too. In fact, you need to understand their political chess game; however, these soldiers and innocent lives will have to sacrifice in the process.

Certainly, in the end, the rich will benefit from all the proceeds from Preah Vihear temple tourism -- not the poor and underprivileged people.

12:02 You dont have to send them anything, their government taking care of that and that's what they paid to do the job.

Dont let the opportunist take the advantage on this fallen sodiers.

Khmer have to be smart with Siam from now on. We know how they are in the past and sometimes we become too friendly with these people. I appeal to all the Khmer readers in here to stop using anything Thai. Please carry that message to your families. I know you would think it won't do any damage to them but the power of masses will. There are hundred thousands of Khmer abroad alone. This would translate into millions of dollars loss once we stop purchasing Thai products when you go to the supermarket.

War against this fucking Thai can be found by you the ordinary civilians far away from the frontline too. We use the economic strategy in this one. Remember how the Vietnamese were always ahead of the French and the American in Vietnam War? They used many factors, not just militarily.

So, please stop using Thai products. There are alternatives. Thai fucking killed, pillaged, and hated Khmer. Why do you keep going and giving your hard-earned money to these people who killed and looked down on us Khmer. Fuck Thailand and stop using anything Thai. Please! Please! Please!

SHAME to Cambodia government treats falling soldiers body, very poor display, only just white sheet covered. They should properly display with nice coffin and Cambodia flag drapes over and a better display place than just on a piece of clothe.
They are died for Cambodia sovereignty! Ah Hun Xen.

To die of defending a country is a million times better than to live invading other country.
