Witnesses have observed that Thai troops displayed a show of their heavy weapons at the red house located inside Thailand, facing the Cambodian Preah Vihear. All these weapons are currently displayed in an open field that can be seen from Cambodia. The weapons include: three tanks, and three 105-mm and 106-mm canons. Furthermore, it is learned that more heavy weapons were hidden by Thailand inside the wooded area. In front of Cambodia’s Veal Entry (Eagle Field) area, Thai troops have installed several canons and tanks, however they cannot be seen from Cambodia because these are dense wooded areas. During the clash between Cambodian and Thai soldiers on 15 October, two Cambodian soldiers were injured and three lost their lives. On the other hand, [an anonymous source indicated that] 16 Thai troops were killed and 27 were injured, however, another unofficial source also indicated that 26 Thai troops were killed. Nonetheless, no independent source can verify these numbers.

Where the hell is Scam Rainsy and Kim Sucka in this period of crisis?
As opposition Scam Rainsy and Kim Sucka always said that they are better PM than Hun Sen. We voters want to know how they "WOULD" handle this situation better than Hun Sen. They should have come out and OFFERED suggestion to the government, what they "WOULD" do if they "WERE" PM.
Scam and Sucka only criticize Khmer and work to ban foreign aids to Khmer, but when it comes to protect Khmer, they have no ideas. I have lost all my faith in the opposition now, after this crisis and after Scam flip flop his pledge to boycott NA as a result of bribes by Kith Meng.
Now it shows why Cambodia needs Hun Sen. Scam and Sucka are hopeless useless foreign idiots.

Khmer politicians are united on this stance there is no need to make a fuss and do publicly because the govt. are the only one authorize to act on this. The oppositions have voice their support and solidarity with the government on this.

This is not about dividing Khmer politics, I am not saying we should attack each other, but Sam Rainsy's conduct must be considered during this testing time, as Sam always claims that he is a btter PM than Hun Sen. Now he is quiet, have no idea how to deal with the Thais. What does that show: he is incompetent, and L-plate politician who only criticize Khmer and ban foreign aids to Khmer, that's it.

You're acting as an opportunist for the ruling party to bolster these poor-but-rich-heart soldiers to fight for your Preah Vihear temple benefit.
