The Cambodian authority has said that Thailand has increased troop deployments along the Khmer-Thai borders in the Preah Vihear regions.
Deputy Police Commissioner of Banteay Meanchey province, Mr. Sam Chith, said on the 10th October that the Thai side has stealthily deployed troops in the middle of the night and on the night of Wednesday the 8th October there were about 80 black-clad and paramilitary troops had been deployed as a reinforcement.
Mr. Sam Chith said: “They have deployed 80 more black-clad and paramilitary troops. But they deployed them about 20 kilometres from here, somewhere in Thmor Puok district….from the north of Boeng Trokuon to the north of the Dangrek Ranges.”
The Thai deployments have been increased due to the recent fighting after Thai troops had violated Cambodian territorial integrity and mine explosions which injured two Thai soldiers at Phnom Trop in Preah Vihear province.
Khmer border guards said that the Thai side has continuously deployed troops at night time along the areas of the north western provinces.
Captain Liv Sipha, deputy commissioner of the military police of Battambang province stationed at Samlaut district, said that the situation along the Khmer-Thai borders in Battambang province is normal and the Khmer and Thai side still have cordial contacts with each other.
Captain Liv Sipha said: “All the borderlines in Pailin and Battambang have no problem. Nothing has changed. in short, the situation from Poipet to Pailin and as far as Koh Kong we don’t have any problems.”
Since fighting broke out in Preah Vihear on Friday the 3rd of October, villagers at Boeng Trokoun and other border areas are afraid to leave their houses due to fears. But reports on this Friday have said that the fears among the villagers in border areas had been subsided. One villager said: “There is no problem. People are still crossing the borders to work on the potato and sugarcane farms (in Thailand) as normal. They slept in their huts along the Thai paddies. When the fighting broke out there were fears among these people, but now everything has returned to normal.”
Villagers and border guards who live along the borders said that even though there is no armed confrontation there they are still worried. They said that they are waiting for the results of the Khmer-Thai ministerial meeting on the 13th of October, 2008.//

Thai military operate at night using night vision, best advantage over Khmer. Wait and see if that can stop their army from getting kill when the full scal war break out. And I say the war will break out because it is clearly that is Thai intention all along. 10,000 more negotiation is still not work because Thai want to invade Khmer by keep on sending troop to Khmer land, destroying Khmer village life bood such as fruit trees, vegetable, and home. And Thai think about is by all mean to make Khmer suffer using all the available weapon to make it happen and including using Night Vision to operate at night so that Khmer army can see. May be this time Thai should be suffer as well. We have had enough of suffering.

The Siam and the Viet are our historical enemies. The world know that most of their present lands are carved out of Khmer empire. From the time that Siam started to migrate south from Nan Chow, China and the Viet started to migrate south from Tongkung, China, their ambitions to take over Khmer land never ceased. This is the main reason why Viet put presure on Phnom Penh government to finish marking the border as soon as possible while their puppet is still in power. On the other hand, Siam deploy their do-nothing military to mount presure so that they have a better leverage in negotiating the land and sea border with Cambodia.
The Siam and the viet always a concern to us all but the problem doesnt only lie with our big neighbors but it also lie with our blind priminister (physicaly and mentaly blind) who was installed by Viet and who always put personal interest obove national interest. Siam and Viet know that Ah Kvak Hun Sen will do anything to protect his personal interest which is to stay in power. This is why its a golden opportunity for our big neighbors to expand their territories.
When compared with all the Khmer leaders in the past Ah Kvak Hun Sen is the most destructive to Cambodia in term of our territorial integrity and our sovereignty. Even Pol Pot killed over two million Khmer, he never allow any foreigner to violate our territory or our sovereignty. Under Ah Kvak leadership, Khmer people lost everything including our dignity of being a human. In order for us Khmer to fend ourselves from our historical enemy, first and for most we must get rid of Ah Kvak Hun Sen. However, keep in mind that election is no longer a viable option for us. We need to find a new way to get rid of this animal.

My feeling is to try to find a best way to bring HS back i.e. through enaging. If he feels he is being loved by Khmers, there is no way he would choose VN. But, everyone, at least in this blog is trying to shut the holes by all means. If you make people no choice, he/she has to make a decision although it could be bad. All Khmers think back, don't be so personal. Mixing with up with the neighbors are not the first time. Siamese attacked Angkor and occupied Ankgor for many years until our king toppled them. Then, the king married the Siamese prince's wife (whose husband was killed by him) and had a son. When this son took the crown, he was already a half Khmer half Siamese. Who here lived through the KR??? I was shackled with my mother at an ankle, fed watery rice soup, and deficates and urinate in the place where we slept. Every night I heard other Khmer prisoners moan of pain from torture and the pain when their feet swell due to lacks of nutrition -their ankle are too big for the shackle. I was about six years old.
