In the evening of Saturday 01 November, shortly before 10 PM, a gunshot echoed on Street 278 located in Boeung Keng Kang 1 district, and led to a short panic, especially among foreigners who were dining in the area restaurants.

A non lethal accident near the Herb Café was the source of the incident. A man was getting out of his car when suddenly a motorcycle driver came by and the latter could not avoid the car door. The motorcycle driver kicked the car door violently and it landed on the face of the car driver. The tension then rose between the car driver who was slightly injured and the drunk motorcycle driver who had a gun on his waist. Warned by the car driver, the police intervened and one of the cops shot a bullet in the air to calm down the situation.

The crowd which was impressed by this warning shot, immediately scrambled out while the motorcycle driver was arrested.

Shooting a bullet into the air is so calming...we should do it often. Everyone bring out your guns please.
