Poor Sacrava, the victim of Khmer vs Khmer problem, sir. It's when you think you're the only Khmer and the other guys are not that Khmer kill each other. Congratulations to you for being an example of the remnant of the old Khmer vs Khmer bullshit. I hope the people of my younger generation won't be cursed with the same one the older generation has gone through and still stuck with them.
There is no pure Khmer. It's when you are stupid enough and ignorant of the history to know that there are people migrating from one place to another. There are Chinese, Vietnamese, etc... descendants living in Cambodia from a long time ago and they consider themselves as much Khmer as you are. I hate it when stupid people call themselves Khmer Angkor like that really makes them the real Khmer and they are superior than everyone else. Fuck all you stupid Khmer who think like that. I hope the Koun Khmer overseas and in srok can learn the notion of multiculturalism better than their parents and grandparents.
Btw, you look like Chinese Cambodian. I'm not judging you but your facial features seem to be that of the Khmer-Chinese, the smaller eyes and lighter skin complex. That for itself all says something about how diverse the Khmer people really are. My father is farmer's son from Svay Rieng and my mom is of Chinese great grandparents but never learned Chinese and definitely doesn't think she is Chinese at all. I asked her that.

I agree with you that no Khmer should think he or she is the only Khmer, but I would not go beyond that. Your notion of Western “multiculturalism” is naive, and desastrous for Cambodia. So far, no country in the World has ever accepted multiculturalism if such acceptance compromises its existence. How can Cambodia accepts a Vietnamese as her citizen when all Vietnam wants and does is to annex her? You are incorrect when you said Vietnamese descendants living in Cambodia from a long time ago consider themselves as much Khmer as the Khmer descendants. Ask yourself this question, when Vietnam invade Cambodia again, would those Vietnamese descendants who pretend to be as much Khmers as the Khmer descendants pick up arms to defend Cambodia?

How about preserving and protecting what we have instead? How about not worrying about "sunk cost"? The viet will never give back Khmer Krom and Thai will definitely not give back any of provinces. Instead of trying to achieve what is impossible, why don't we use all the resources and energy towards what actually counts, like developing Cambodia. It's when Khmer still have that mentality of going back to the past that Cambodia will always be stuck at the bottom. You can't change the past. Trying to get the land back is like trying to go back to the past. It's never gonna happen. Stop dreaming about the humanly and earthly impossibility and start thinking about the works that actually benefit Cambodia instead. How about that?

Some says such a thing because they never like what the Vietnamese government has and had done to Cambodia from the past to present day. There are Vietnamese who love Cambodia and hated Hanoi and there Vietnamese who hated Khmer and pretend to be Khmer to serve Hanoi. It not that Khmer are so racist but the Vietnamese are contempt with racism. Yes you can be pure Khmer which depended on how much you appreciates and love Cambodia. If someone accusing you of being Youn then he or she must be correct on your behavior and your characterize by political agenda, unless you prove them wrong.
