The "come and go" could account almost 90-95% of that 24.7billions as they are not here to invest but to suck Khmer people. The reason I said that because there is almost no industial establishments in the country besides garment factories and the recent up-side-down real estate.

This is a very fragile economy that the government always claims so proudly to bully Khmer people.

If we can get just 40% of that 24.7 billions as real and long term investments then it would be great because that is a long term guaranteed for Khmer all wlks of lives to earn their living.

Don't be fooled with investment. It's a new cold war strategy that China is challenging USA. Investments from china in Cambodia is done Cambodia is so hungry and the greed of the leaders for money. After western stop giving money because if corruption etc then Chinese offer opportunity so that Usa does not have present in Cambodia.

In 1999 US pres Bill Clinton visited Vietnam then aChinese pres or top leader also visited Cambodia at the same becoz Cambodia.

Civil war will sound in it's circle.

We didn't know how much Pol Pot owed China.
Now, we do know China is investing in Cambodia almost 6 billion US. dollars.
China will grab Khmer economy as much as she can.She won't throw her money away easily like in Pol Pot regime. She is the second richest country in the world after USA.
The USA is investing 8 million dollars in Cambodia.
The two richest countries. Why did USA invest little money in this poor country?
We wait and see the US invest in Cambodia in the next few years.
