Here in Beijing, a French gentleman came to visit me recently.
He wrote a book on Norodom Sihanouk. And he will write another one. Regarding this new book on Sihanouk, he had several things to “clarify” and many questions to ask me.
Among these questions, this French gentleman told me: “My compatriots who read my first book about you, they have all made this remark: in this book, there was not a single line criticizing you (Sihanouk), [or] pointing out your vices, your mistakes, your shortcomings. “One of these compatriots said: “When he was in power, Sihanouk did not tolerate any opposition. Films on Sihanouk in power, during the 60s, showed Sihanouk’s opponents locked up in steel cages and paraded (sic!) just like wild circus animals … before they were shot.”
I never locked up, I never paraded anybody in one or several cages. My truthful compatriots who are currently still alive and who lived under Sihanouk’s Cambodia during the 60s, can testify that I never put anybody in a cage.
As for the compatriots who were “shot,” they were CIA Agents, sentenced to death by our National Military Tribunal, and to whom I, the Head of State, officially refused to pardon them.

These again are examples of contempt, hatred, injustice dedicated to me, for several years now, by France and many Frenchmen, one of whom even went on to say not so long ago: “My friendship with Sihanouk, it’s finished! I will only have contempt and hatred toward him.”x x

King Sisowath Monivong, selected me to become King of Cambodia while I was still studying at the Lycée Chasseloup-Laubat in Saigon to become later a Professor of French, Latin or Greek in an Indochinese high school!x x

Execution of political prisoners was not strange at all as during that period of time many countries in the world, the US, France, China, Russia, Germmay, Thailand, VN... executed people whom the court accused and judged as committing high treason (Traitors to the Nation).
Some countries have not executed the political prisoners through legal proceedings, BUT assassianted them.It is equally cruel.
It was true and further more Sihaknuk let the executed show before the movies start all around the country ,I know you forget about it because you too old some times you forget to admit that you told Khmer rouge to kill all khmer in Phnom Penh in gentle before you return from Bejin for your revenge(the record in the French News paper) you have the face to refuse it? the truth is a lot of people make unsubstantial claims left and right. Sihanouk deserves a fair trial at the histories he made. It should be looked at from the inside of Cambodia, what did his subjects thought about him at the time of his power.
What we have seen know of him all only through fragment works like these, puzzle here and there, that are not even correct and some are not even i context. But most people get their information from the outside and the western media. So who can blame them?
And what's this about Sihanouk wishes Hok to be his son whatnot? What do you expect him to say hahaha! Thanks you're dead! Only a fool like you would say such a foolish thing, even though in all, we and both Sihanouk no Hok is bad.

My dear grand pa's preah beida jati. First of all I just would like to let you know that I'm not with Khmer Republican nor other party I'm just a regular Khmer people. You should prepare to bring with you what you need after you die if you beleive that way. In HELL they have to make a new and worst than terrible place that they already had because no one comitted that kind of bad crime as you did yet. Because I like you that's why I want to remind you. All the action you did you always think is good but only good for yourself.

The thing that troubles me the most is that this royal scumback displays no remorse or regret for what he did to his country and his subjects. I was not even born yet at the time, but my parent told me the same story mentioned by 8:42AM. This royal cruelty not only ordered many executions, but he also ordered that some of the executions be shown at public theaters before the start of a movie. This royal has done nothing but destroy and disgrace the country.
