The new Thai foreign minister put border issues with Cambodia as a top priority after the conclusion of the Asean Summit. Thai media reported on Sunday Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya as saying that border issues with Cambodia will be the most important issues after the Asean Summit.
Mr. Kasit said that the border issues can be resolved because Cambodian PM hun Sen was the first leader to have sent a congratulation letter to Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, after the he was elected as Thailand's PM. He said that Mr. Hun Sen's gesture is a good sign for warm neighbourly relations between the two countries.
Mr. Phay Siphan, spokesman for Cambodia's Council of Ministers, said that what Cambodia can see is that Cambodia welcome the commitments of the new Thai foreign minister who puts the Khmer-Thai border issues at his top priority. He said that Cambodia commends these commitments.
He added that Cambodia and Thailand must implement the November agreements between the two foreign ministers that were signed in Siem Reap. In the agreements, both sides have decided to put the Preah Vihear border issues on the top of the agenda.

Another Khmer pretending to be Thai @1:29am. Cambodia should take the border disputes with Thailand to UN or ICJ. Don't waste time with Thailand. They are playing games. They will never withdraw troops from Khmer territories. Kick them out by legal and diplomatic means.
If the US can invade Iraq, India could invade Pakistan, why not Thais or Vietnam could invade Cambodia. So, Cambodia needs to be very careful in solving the problems and should choose right alliances to be safe. The two neighbor giant countries can't be trusted. Ask for long-term US protectoriate would help if US has a fair policy toward Cambodia and Thailand or choose China.

No body can deny that Thailand and Vietnam can invade Cambodia! In fact this is not the first time that Thailand and Vietnam invade Cambodia!
Well let take a recent history as an example such the incident when Vietnam has to invade Cambodia in 1979 to remove Mr. Pol Pot from attacking Vietnam. But did Vietnam was successful in conquering Cambodia after 10 years of their military campaign? Of course!
If the Thai leaders are so foolish and so blind not to learn from the recent history and let them come to Cambodia and find out for themselves! I will promise to these Thai warmongers that It won't a walk at the panic or at the park and they will regret the day that they attack Cambodia!
Thailand should have done it in 1979 and be able to rescue Cambodia soon before that. Who could smell Communist better than Thai? not sure why they didn't. It's such a shame and kind of too late now. Also it would be very very difficult to do it, becuase Cambodia isn't standing alone anymore. You know the vietman federation shit. Cambodia just have to live in the dream land, if she wants to have a full and complete freedom.
