Kang Kallyan and Ung Chamroeun, both journalists for Cambodge Soir Hebdo (CSH), obtained first and third prize, respectively, in a competition organized by the Club of Cambodian Journalists and the Lutheran World Federation NGO. The topic of this competition was focused on rural development. Twenty-two journalists from various newspapers and magazines throughout the country sent in their articles to compete.
The five jury members, comprising of editor-in-chiefs of Khmer newspapers and foreign news media reporters, gave out three prizes. Kang Kallyan seduced the jury with her report titled “Phnom Sruoch: micro-finance in a former Khmer Rouge zone.” Teang Mongkul of the Sahakum Kien Svay community newspaper received the second prize for his article “Village bank improves villagers’ life.” Finally, Ung Chamroeun received the third prize through his article “Development maintains its pace following the pullout of sponsors.” The ceremony for the distribution of prizes was held on Tuesday 23 December at the Sunway Hotel in Phnom Penh, under the presidency of Mao Ayuth, the secretary of state of Information.
Last July, two other CSH reporters: Leang Delux and Ung Chansophea, also received the second and third prize from the Club of Cambodian Journalists and the US embassy on investigative journalism. The CSH administration congratulates Kang Kallyan and Ung Chamroeun for their talent and competency.

Way to go, guys. My sincere congratulations to Teang Mongkul, Kang Kallyan and Ung Chamroeun. God bless.
I hope they don't get snatched by Ah Nazi (Scam Rainxy) for his political gain like other journalists.
Oh, shut the fucked up ah fake siem.
I hope the georgeous girl won't be fucked and killed by ah hun xen.
Kang Kallyan looks hot. Smart brain and nice body, is this georgeous girl still single?
Unfortunately, she already got a baby.
Yeah, and plus, she have no interest in associating with any lowlife (donut maker).
Congratulation Chamroeun,
One of your friends from Siemreap
0921AM, ok then. Long live to her, her baby and her family. Cambodia needs such talents and competencies to rebuild our country. Good work done, and may talentful and smart people like these three guys lead the country one day, not like the parasite as 1010AM who look down on any lowlife as donut maker or cyclo. (better to sell donuts than suck the dicks of yuon as 1010AM...but if he likes it no problem for me).
1010Am, for your info, me 0820AM, i m a khmer local, who never look down on beggar, cyclo, beer garden girls, prostitutes and so on. You have to considere any human as equal in the world. But of course in a country as Cambodia, we still have a lot of lowmind as 1010AM who are the real obstacle to the development of the country. They just enjoy their power and money and don't give a shit about their fellows. What they know is bark bark and bark, but when they go to other countries as Singapore or Malaysia, China or Japan or Europe or USA, they just adopt low profile, because if they behave the same in other countries as in Cambodia, they will be kicked, put in jail and sodomize by niggars...
Oh zip it, Ah Jkout (2:02), there is no way that we going to put any lowlife donut maker in government. We rather have Thai, Yuon, or Lao. You got that?
Yes, ah fake siam, go get fucked in your ass, and leave khmer alone. I fucked your mother last night, she groaned like a viet slut.
