Photos from the launching of the Democratic Movement for Change between the SRP and the HRP

January 15, 2009, SRP president Sam Rainsy and HRP president Kem Sokha signed an agreement to form the Democratic Movement for Change (DMC), an alliance of both democratic parties that will lead to future merger of both parties and other democrats in Cambodia for the 2012 commune election and the 2013 national election. The alliance will be the only alternative to voters who wish to see change in social, economic and political affairs in Cambodia.

I don't think Samrainsy and Kem Sokha can beat Hun Sen Party because of Ah Youn Nov Srok Khmer.

Kem Sokha has all the moral values that Cambodia cherishes---freedom;democracy;the right of peoples and nation to determine their own destiny, to speak and write, to live and worship as they choose--- all these basic rights are fundamentally challenged by a powerful advarsary which does not wish these values to survive.
Nominate Kem Sokha for a change!
Sam Rainsy suck!

What is the point of this alliance??? If they're truely love the people and devote for the nation they should have formed the alliance before July election. Not only until the election results showed that both of them couldn't gain enough vote for the PM seat, then starting to form alliance. I believe Mr Sam Rainsy devote his life for the course of democracy, but I don't believe his subordinates and Mr Kem Sokha, who have so many bad reputation of selfishness, would have the same mentality.

Believe me, CPP will some day collapse by its own course (its party members) not by opposition parties, cuz almost 99% of its members are too corruption-rotten, only a few people on top who truely want some reform to leave some legacy in the history book.

I'm deeply concerned that power is too much cencentrated in the PM alone. Everywhere I go I saw people wearing watches, T-shirt, cap with PM name or image on it. It becomes quite common now to see armed forces, and sometimes civilian, wearing black cap with the logo "Har Sar" and Khmer script written on the side as "Or Ro Har Sar" (literally mean PM Bodyguard) and these people use such kind of display to intimidate ordinary citizens.

Everyday I live with great anxiety that what if one day our PM suddenly died and leave behind a huge and dangerous headless snake, then its body and its tail will fight each other for power, then ordinary citizens will suffer. I pray and pray for Cambodia not to fall into another civil war or become like Somali.

I beg our PM to please think about this and start some kind of restructuring of the armed forces and make them politically neutral. No matter which politician lead the country, the arm forces would still serve the people. May God Buddha bless Cambodia.

Reality is INDOCHINA FEDERATION. Party politics won't change that. Lok Rainsy and Lok Sokha are just fooling around hoping that the CPP permit them to have a role in the so-called politic. This is in fact a defeat.

It is too late Ah Sva Sam Rainsy. Why dont you do the merging since 1998 election, stupid?

In 1998 you were the one that betrayed our khmer. You have screamed and shout Woof. But at the end, you have jointed with Ah Hun Sen to form the illegal government.

In 1995, I have informed you at the beginning of forming your party that you MUST be strong facing Hun Sen. Do not let power, dream or money to rule you. But
you are "One man play band with your arrogant wife". You kept only the crooks around you and you kicked out all the good people back to Australia and the USA.

In 1998, the resolution HR 533 have passed in US Congress, but stupid you that were willing to joint with Hun Sen. Then the HR 533
was dormant.

Please do not bark again. We do not believe you anymore stupid.

Former SRP Core group in 1995.

For your information, Kem Veasna is really an adopted brother of Sar Kheng. This information, I had it since he was really young. Peoples living near Tuol Sleng prison know this information, not far from Beehive Radio. I think even Chea Pouch (MP of SRP) had this information too. He go there oftenly before he was elected member of MP.

In fact, his mother, when Sar Kheng was poor and peasant, had helped Sar Kheng on something. The something, i had forgot what it was. Then Sar Kheng had asked the mother of Kem Veasna to be his adopted mother. In the same time, Kem Veasna became the adopted's brother of Sar Kheng.

How you really wonder how come Kem Veasna got so much monies to open a political party? Especially radio. Where do Kem Veasna got the monies? Especially how Kem Veasna got the 10 000 signatures to open a polical party? This is a pretty long job. With one person, you guys and gals really think he can do that.

Beside, Khem Sokha can get easily the 10 000 signatures, because he is the ex-president of Human Right. He has his members doing the necessary things for him.
