The Cambodian Center for Human Rights accused members of the ruling party in the National Assembly and the government of abuse of the freedoms of opposition parliamentarians, following a travel ban to Preah Vihear temple of Human Rights Party officials last week.
On Jan. 3, military officials in Preah Vihear province prevented Human Rights Party President Kem Sokha and two other parliamentarians from bringing donations to soldiers stationed along the border in a long-running standoff with Thailand.
The gifts, which included kramas, canned fish, fish sauce, bottled water and money, had been donated by party supporters in the US.
The Center, which was once led by Kem Sokha, issued a statement Monday claiming the travel ban exemplified a disrespectful attitude exhibited by the Cambodian People’s Party and its parliamentarians toward other lawmakers following its landslide win in 2008’s national election.

Now, Cambodian people see clearer and clearer that Hun Sen not just even act as Land seller to Viet, but also famine to his own soldier. We all care of our own people, and country. Look at him, whithout his name with it, no way.

There is no question how Hun Sen he beleived and treat to Khmer people. I was said this country without his is nothing, that is the reason he lead the country like his belonging as individual.
By the way, I just watch this youtube clip about Thailand land, I was wondering if some one can do the same way to show our land and the history.

dont you ever think that life and destine of you and yours are defined by viets? What going on in Cambodia since generation is what viets decided for you and your people because your people are incapable to think and lead your distinct by your own but let the viets decide your life for you. The proper way for Mr. Kem Sokha to donate the supplies to the troops is to first reach out to Samdech Decho Hun Sen and ask for his permission and support directly.
Then Mr. Kem Sokha will be able to distribute the aid as a representative of the Royal Government.
When Mr. Kem Sokha showed up at Preah Vihear without such a mandate, he must have realized that his presence would put the troops at a very difficult position.
Why show up to give aid to the troops when you know they will be afraid to accept it? To me, he did not have pure intention. This is an old devisive tactic commonly practiced by the Westerners.
That is not the Khmer way or the Buddhist way.
The Khmer people are not as dumb as the white people or their servants think we are.

I know many of you overseas Khmers, some of whom have contributed money to be delivered by Mr. Kem Sokha to the troops, are very upset about this incidence.
Let me ask you a few questions:
1. Who does Mr. Kem Sokha represent? Does he represent the Cambodian government or foreigners (Westerners)?
2. If he represents the Cambodian government, why not seek approval from Samdech Decho Hun Sen before attempting to distribute the supplies to the troops?
3. If he already knew that he would be turned away (without the support of Samdech Decho Hun Sen), why did he insist on going to Preah Vihear anyway? Does he want to keep the money ($5,000) for himself?
If he really wanted to get the aid to the troops, there are appropriate channels to do so without ostensibly appearing to politicize the conflict.
Please explain.

The best way to support the troop is to go through proper channel (Defense Department).
No one on this planet support the troop here and there as they please. Just look at how they did it in Iraq or Afghanistan ...

In the ordinary country, army is under responsibility of government and they are supplied of needs by this one but in Cambodia, the yuon slave cpp put themselves and the whole country as slave and beggars who have no life, no human dignity, miserable, leak all basic needs and don’t even have enough to eat. This is the great leadership and glory of khmer rouge or vietcong eternal slave the cpp.
In position of beggars or in danger any people who have some pity on these people can make help or make some donate to help these people oppressed, killed and held as hostages by the khmer rouge cpp. Do people need to ask these yuon slaves permission while they want to give some helps to the poor Khmer people?
In theme of corruption, killing Khmer, robbing Khmer rights and richness even for yuons, no one hits the yuon slave khmer rouge cpp. These yuon slaves are happy and proud to be yuon killing tools. Proud and happy to be used by yuons as yuon killing tools against Khmer people and nation and as salary, these yuon slaves can enjoy eating and drinking from yuon toilet and cry out it is their paradise.
