The Cambodian Government has, so far licensed, the establishment of six special economic zones (SEZ) along its border with Vietnam. Among them, two have been put into operation. and four others currently under construction.
Most of the farm product processing plants in these SEZ will belong to Vietnam, while their main destination of agricultural products will also Vietnam.
Noteably, the Phnom Den SEZ, covering an area of 100 hectares is being built with an investment capital of US$100 million provided by agricultural product processing companies. The project is expected to be operational by 2015.
As many as 19 SEZ have been licensed by the Cambodian Government so far, and it is expected that these six newly-licensed special economic zones will bring the trade turnover between Vietnam and Cambodia to US$2 billion by 2010.

Any important acitivities are not khmer: economic-agriculture,fisheries..., security, reliogious, special economic zones...what is left of Khmer anyway? what is prime minister doing beside busy sacking popular Khmer general, or go after Khmer throats?

To what i have heard from local news and media, Cambodian government has signed many contracts with Vietnam giving them thousands of hectares for Vietnam and Khmer development along the border. With this contract, Vietnam has the right to do anything such as cultivation and other farming activities in those land for 100s years. (Cambodia gives its land to Vietnam for 100s years? why not keep those land for Cambodian people?)
I also heard people living along those land claimed that as Cambodian, they can't get into those land without Vietnam permission. (Cambodian not allow to travel in Cambodia without Vietnam permission? this is so ridiculous!!!)
Who should we blame? A HUN SEN is selling our nation. This god is not just selling land to Vietnam but the whole nation will be sold to Vietnam.
Until now many high ranking officers in Government were taken out on their position. Many rumors said that A HUN SEN is trying to replace those high positions with Vietnamese dog and take control Cambodia government.
Please help Cambodia!!! It will be too late to take action if their plan successfully done.

khmers don't need thousands and thousands, but someone some organizations must set role models, and everyone can contribute by words to voice our concerns and perhaps sometimes financially to pave ways to make the protests possible one after others until the current leaders change their alien-country-dependent policies....
khmers must speak and act tough and particularly smart to protest to the current government. There is no much time to waste!
