Publications that enhance our Khmer Democracy and Leadership - Courtesy of Vanak Thom

Originally posted at http://blogbykhmer.blogspot.com

Last year after I read "Khmer Leadership Part 1" I had to wait more than 6 months before the Part 2 was available. Now both parts are widely circulated on the internet. I now just finish reading it. These two books are so good. A lot of ideas and accountability of leaderships should be. Not the kind of leaders as Global Witness has recently published in Country For Sale: Welcome to Cambodia

These publications are among those kind our Khmer government would love to burn because the guilty conscience of our current leaders cannot stand the truth. And that's why they want to completely discredit the truth or destroy it.

No enhancement is needed. It is perfect as it it.

Of all these years of curruptions and getting rich out of it. Yet they want more. For they are not wise enough to know having enough is enough.

They will continue this route until they will lose it all. Wisdom having nothing to do with education or being smart. But knowing the basic different of knowing when to stop what is wrong and right.

That kind of Khmer leadrship would never have at all after the usurpation of Varman throne by Damned god damaged TRASAK Pha'em, trasak Pha'our dynasty, especially after the destruction of Lovek Capital by Thai Nore Suon in 1595.

Since then Trasak Pha'our are fihgting among each other to grap power by the support from Thai invasion or viet invasion to put khmer prince on the throne. And Cambodia had to cede some provinces to Thai or Viets, as their recognition. The same matter with ah Hun Kh'wang Viet puppet regime of today.

very good work khmer compatriots. khmer politics have to involve more intellectuals and experts.

khmers cannot afford to have low-educated and self-centered leaders anymore. their leadership styles will have to compromise any negative behaviour of their followers because those leaders themself do not have vision or enough capacity to lead khmers to any other levels.

One thing for sure these leaders know how to survive under any challenges by khmer compatriots, however, in terms of development or promoting khmer into intellectual age, they will just sigh and keep their lip tight as their brains do not let them to do so!

what a pathetic for khmer leaders!

អំណាច ដូចទឹកមូយថ្លុក បើមិនហូរ រលួយស្អុយទាល់រីង។

there can be no democracy when one family rule with friends and relative and then inter-married to create the ruling dynasty!
