Your Cartoon is good. In the present world, important events in one country cannot happened alone, without little or big intervention from other countries.
But whom to blame? Blaming other coutries is reflecting our own weakness. We must look at ourselves first, find out our weakness, and change ourselves.
Blaming or insulting other people or other countries is merely an Ignorance and a big stupidity.
Shadow is exactly the word to describe Cambodia's great misery, but those bastards who operated Cambodia between 1975-1979 didn't need to drive everybody else out of thier houses and sent them down to live in the middle of nowhere! They wanted those people to die like animal. That what they did. It's their fantastic games.MF! Give them to sharks.

why did the North VN communists NOT kill the South Vietnamese in the millions like the KR? They were exposed to the same harsh conditions and ideology as the KR.
I just came back from Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. My trip was awesome.
I feel so sorry for Cambodian people.
Here is my reply:
4:31 AM. You are out of touch with modern trends. Corruptions are everywhere in the world, but Cambodia is the worse one.
Do you know how I knew it? One man bragged endlessly about his great achievement and how he became so rich. He said he came from Vietnam and now he is a son in law of Cambodian general. He is a millionnaire.
How he got that money? He was sent to study Khmer, learned Khmer culture, and changed name Vietnamese to Khmer before he entered into Cambodia to fullfil his mission as a spy. He is not alone many thousand Vietnamese are well trained spies.
His Father in law is Khmer general, a former teacher who also joined Khmer Rouge. The Vietnamese gave his Father in law a big house and servants. They treated his Father in law like King. How they get those money to buy those Khmers? They take out from Cambodia and give back to Khmers with high positions. How can anyone cease the corruption?
And why did you blame the west? Blame your Vietnamese Communist who is doing it to destroy Cambodia and her people.
