Hun Sen worries about the quality of medical degrees

During a speech given on Tuesday 24 March for the handing out of diplomas at the International University, Hun Sen reminded that a bad quality education is a danger to the nation, in particular when it comes to medical degrees.
“The education level in the medical profession is very important because people’s life is at stake. There must be programs that follow precise standards,” Hun Sen said while indicating that he declined an invitation by the International University in 2005 because of the large number of doctors receiving their degrees [during that year]. According to Hun Sen, the number of medical doctor recipients was too large.
Hun Sen wished to see medical students preparing their doctorate thesis under the supervision of several advisors, not just from the university itself, but also from external advisors also. “This profession is very important, the model provided by the International University should not be followed, i.e. the opening of other medical schools in private institutions. This worries me a lot,” he said. The International University is currently the only private university providing a medical doctorate degree.
Hun Sen indicated that for the PhD degree he obtained, he got it under the supervision of 15 advisors. Without giving further details, he indicated that he prepared his thesis, but that he never had to defend it. “This thesis allowed me to lead the country to democracy and development. I don’t have to return to study, I have sufficient background in various matters since the 80s. In my thesis, I focused on a precise vision of the management of the country,” Hun Sen revealed.

Why complained about the PM, Mr. Hun Sen's Phd. Leading the country like our is not simple. Of course the PM did some mistakes but tried the best to rebuild the Kingdom. Easier just commented and not to have any responsible.
Yes coz govt treats degrees that were obtained from from other countries at lower than local degree. Those who finished their degree from other countries they have to summit request to government to ask for equivalent to local degree. Otherwise they will not be recognized as equivalent. And required documents to submit are so many and complicate.
2:04pm, there is different between the ability of leading the nation and degree acquired from school. They cannot be mixed together. A person may have ability to lead the nation without attending school. This depends on how he or she leads. Some control the country through different sorts of powers, for examples, people power, power of gun/weapon, power of money etc..
But the degree you can get only if you have attended school as required.
Personally, I am not complaining Hun Sen Ph.D, but just can't stop laughing.

Hun Sen is right to claim his political experience as s substitute for his thesis. Many people honor PHD degree by many ivy league institution around the world through their achievements and life experience without previous or formal education background. I don't like Hun Sen, but I agreed with his legitimate debate.
I have read one of Dr Xen's Ph D thesis. Its title is rather long, it reads:
"My rise and stay in power by Vietnam's total assistance and my pay-back to Vietnam with Khmer lands and lives".
The thesis cover has a picture of Dr Xen receiving a bouquet of flowers from a young Vietnamese girl while arriving at Hanoi airport to signed the border treaty.
