PHNOM PENH, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The government has appointed former commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) Ke Kim Yan as deputy prime minister, said English-language newspaper the Cambodia Daily on Wednesday.
"The government will send the request to the National Assembly. When the National Assembly approves it, you will know," Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, told the paper.
If approved, Ke Kim Yan will become the government's 10th deputy prime minister.
The general has been without a position since being removed as RCAF chief by a Royal Decree on Jan. 22.

How many damn deputy prime ministers does Hun Sen need???? Why in hell does he need 10? I guess it's to compensate for having 1,000 worthless & meaningless starred generals, 5,000 useless suck-up advisors.
Congratulation to Ke Kim Yan, I am sure he'll be the best Khmer DPM ever.

When ah Sen was young he could only count with his fingurs. So one day a teacher asked ah Sen to put both hand in his pokets and than asked him " How many fingurs do you have, volture face?" It took ah Sen a while then he looked up and said " 11 teacher"
Hun Sen is buying Ke Kim Yan. This was no dirty laundry is air in public. I bet the general knows where some of the "bodies" are buried.
If PM Hun Sen bought Ke Kin Yan, that mean Ke Kim Yan must be a smart dude.
So what is your point. Is too good for Khmer people to have a smart dude serving them. Is that it?
