In his latest interview, fugitive ex-Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra compared himself to "a domestic dog that can be tamed any time."

"First of all, I have been alleged of not being loyal to His Majesty the king, but actually I am very loyal to His Majesty the king. I am a domestic dog that can be tamed any time. I'm tame already and I can be tamed again. So I'm really loyal to His Majesty the king," Thaksin told Far Eastern Economic Review's deputy editor, Colum Murphy.

Muphy interviewed Thaksin in Dubai and the interview was published in FEER's latest edition of March 9, under the title, "The Taming of Thaksin?"

In the interview, Thaksin claimed Abhisit Vejjajiva government just copied his economic policies, including economic stimulus package.

"All they have to do is recycle my policy because it's not going to work during this time. Because we have limited budget and also we have to prepare for after the post U.S. subprime crisis. You have to understand that Asia will be the engine of growth … where is Thailand going to stand? Where is the point where Thailand is going to be? We have to have strategy of where Asia is heading for and where Thailand will be part of it," he said.

Thaksin claimed that Abhisit's vows to get him back to face trials were just to embarrass him and for political purpose.

Whoever you are, don't compare yourself to a dog. Please keep intact your dignity.

Perhaps Mr. Thaksin has more Khmer blood. The Thai in general did not like Khmer-Mon descents.

To the post #1. Taksin made a metaphor, and you seemed to not understand it. Is it that so as some extremely intelligent dogs being used to trace the crimes and to protect humans. And you may know this day some dogs are the world richest or richer than humans.

Taksin metaphor should be carefully considered since he is China's favorite son.

That's good for you Taskin. My Dr. (Dog roar) Hun Sen is a wild blind mad dog who bites not you but his people.

How is this related to Hun Sen? If you want to criticize, be legit, son. Don't be baseless like your buddies. It makes you look desperately stupid.

Thaksin means this toward the Thai Monarchy that ousted him.

I think Thailand leaders should learn from the destruction of Cambodia between 1970-1975. If they think Cambodian destruction is very good way to follow then they can fight to each other. But if they think Cambodian destruction is very bad, then they should pave their way for National reconcilliation by allowing Thaksin to come home with full respect and ask him to resign his political life for a younger generation. Thaksin compare himself to a dog to make the King look bad. To make people around the world thinks Thai King treat his people like a domestic dog that have to be tamed.

I don't know if Thaksin is a a domestic dog that can be tamed any time or not but I do believe he has a dog's mouth cause everything he say has a bad meaning within them.
