Look on the bright side, under Hun Sen -- everyone has a job. When a teacher come to get [their] pay for the month, Uncle Hun Sen demands that a portion of the salary be paid to his CPP members. In order to keep their jobs under Uncle Hun Sen, everyone pays for it under his kingdom.
Another fact about Uncle Hun Sen education system is that a teacher needs to pay the CPP member at least 3,000-4,000 USD in order to transfer to teach in another school or township.
Uncle Hun Sen demands that whenever his cronies travel anywhere in the Kingdom -- that the National Road be closed just for their convenience.
Uncle Hun Sen Police Forces' job is to keep Khmer citizens terrorized and dirt poor in order to control the people at all levels. Every corner in Battambang [province] is filled with this police force body that stopped motorists and extorted money for their own gain.

Has anyone noticed? Beautiful villas and houses in Cambodia are barricaded inside fenced lot like high-security prisons used for holding dangerous criminals. An ad for a five bedroom villa asked for $850,000.00 (yes, eight hundred fifty thousan US dollars!) so that you can live barricaded in Phnom Penh. The ugly security fence obscurred almost all part of the fron facade, hiding any great design the house may possess. Poor Cambodia still has a very long way to go...unless, of course, you can afford to hire so many bodyguards to protect you and your family.
This villa is for the CPP menbers only , you could not buy it even you have the $ 850,000.00.

There are many times in which bodyguards from different CPP officials would be at the bar, getting so drunk that they would eventually fight with one another and kill each other. It's very stupid. Innocent bystanders also get injured as a result.

After Pol Pot everyone started out the same in a sense, but then the ones with guns and Viet's interest started to take control of every aspect of people's life, mainly the freedom aspect. Most innocent and illeterate Khmers are now without much to really hope for. You and your so-called "successful" people know damn well, that things could get out-of-hand at any moment when many people started to realize they have nothing more to lose - and that is why most of your successful people are imprisoning yourselves in heavily barricaded villas. A successful society means all members are enjoying the benefits in some ways, at least with their most basic needs; and that you don't need 100 guys with guns to protect you all the time.
One family has 7 members, they wore outfit different colors. Their clothes portrayed their real background low class, new wealthy people from robbing the nation.
These CPP homes can be barricaded and fortified, but it doesn't save them. Their bodyguards can easily be bribed and these bodyguards can easily massacre the families from within. Same goes with Hun Sen and his body guard brigade. In desperate times, people can do desperate things and this means any one of Hun Sen's soldiers from his bodyguard brigade can easily place the barrel of a gun and unload it in the face of Hun Sen.
If all else fails, there will always be a martyr....and all the martyr needs is just one (1) luck, and that's all!!! But remember one thing, this is just a theory thereby suggesting nothing to that effect...
