RandomKid Opens School in Cambodia

RandomKid marks the opening of a school in Cambodia that the kids named FOR EACH OTHER. Attending the event are 5 children from the USA representing 70 children from 19 countries around the world who participated in this project. In order of appearance: Talia Leman (IA), Robbye Raisher (NM) and Maddie Lawry (TN). In Part 2, you will see Allison Sant (OH) and Stevie Peacock (FL). The video has multiple cuts, because we edited out the Cambodian translator. This project was made possible by American Assistance to Cambodia, through Bernard Krisher.

This is one of the most important example which all corrupted officials should feel shame for all their corrupted activities to destroy their own country and to create suffering to their own people. Here, you see all these young children from overseas can do for your country in which you cannot do yourself. All CPP members of Government should learn from example from these children and must stop completely all your stealing habits. Areak Prey

The Khmer song was not for the school children.

Good girls and boys. The Cambodian leaders should be embarrassed these young foreign girls and boys have to build schools for our Khmer children, while they only care about their powers and families. Shame on them and congratulation to these boys and girls.

Few things to learn from these talent American kids:

1. Most of them are 13 years old

2. The school name is not their name but it represents every one particularly those local students

3. "Because those local pupils that why they have today" they repeated.

4. They used those giant certificates offered by Khmer elites at the back to get heart shape with thumbnails from every kid. This teaches Khmers that they build school not for their own fame, recognition or useless certificate, but for the future of those kids.

5. They sing the meaningful song of unity and endeavor, but one Khmer orphan sings a Khmer romantic "love song".

So what Khmers should learn from those 13 old Americans especially those Somdech, Oukna, Chumtiev, Eak Udom, and some Bondits?

You right, we got a lot of school and also "private school". What we need in the mean time, are good teachers and educators.

Sometimes it takes one action, or one example, to show us how to be our best selves, and when that happens, what was just a little crack in a door that let in a little bit of light gives way to the door being pushed wide open to fill the whole world with light. Thank you to "RandomKid", and to Bernard Krisher's work with American Assistance for Cambodia. Bernard Krisher has built schools for more than a quarter million children in Cambodia. The door is open, and the light is beginning to fill the earth.

In reality, Cambodia is lacking schools for students. In this world, only Cambodia that students share time shift to study in the same classroom.

Students who take morning classes cannot go afternoon classes.

So, this mean Cambodia has enough schools? No mention of tools equipment and decent jobs for teachers...Cambodia education system has been tremendously politicized by current less educated leaders.

Shame to AH XEN AH SOK ACH!

It is interesting that these people have done this for over 25 years but produced no result whatsoever. Is this school gonna make any difference? I don't think so.

Anonymous said...

Yes, you are right because Cambodia education has been politicized by Hun Sen.

Nice to see all activities, but Cambodia-Infrastructure is not the same level as the USA.
