PHNOM PENH, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen here on Wednesday instructed governmental officials to close all underground gambling dens across the country.
"You have to close all the gambling places that are still hidden in your zones, especially near the Central Market in downtown Phnom Penh, and if not so, I will fire you," he said at a graduation ceremony of the Royal University of Phnom Penh.
"I know there are still betting points hidden in your zones. Close them immediately," he added.
In accordance with the premier's order, the biggest football-gambling agency Cambosix and some slut machine operators that had violated the rule of licensing were shut down nationwide in the past weeks.
Hun Sen alleged that such businesses had turned in poor tax incomes, but instead caused divorces, social instability, robberies and thefts.

My poor PM has to work so hard.He orders this and he orders that! What happens to other government officials? Why don't they do their job or they there are no jobs for them to do because Hun Sen wants to do them by himself? Is there any trust and power sharing among people in the government? If one person does all the jobs or has absolute power, what kind of government is this?
I think if the law is effectively inforced, it could be easy for Hun Sen to lead Cambodia. If not, Hun Sen will continue to be crazy as usual doing all the works by himself. MY poor PM!

people, it's society, it's not the leadership, it's in the society that people do this kind of things! that's why we are calling for strict enforcement of laws so to control these kind of human activities from going out the limit of the law.
My poor PM, Dr. Hun Xien, u control 9 million of real Cambodian population, including another 5 million people are illegal and ethnic YOUN(=Vietnames). It is almost your whole life with only a few amirable achievement of infrastratures.I heard u said close this, do that, especially about closing games. Since 1980 decades till now. Don't know when your people be able to live beyond the income $1 per day. When some1 critises u & your officials why always compare to Pol Pot regime . Everybody knows Pol Pot regime had nothing. Please stop comparing to that regime. Please look at China, its Primier control 1.3 billion population. I think u can ask Hu Jintao or Wen Jiabao about this. Now his country is Number 3 after USA & Russia. Only Chongqing Municipality, one of China cities with 32.5 million people, consist of everything. Please open your one eye broadly to see other countries. u and your officials always go abroad why don't look at those countries and has intention to develop your coutry like them.
