The younger brother of 3-star general Chhoeun Chan Thorn, and who is also the general’s personal bodyguard, was shot on the head and died on the spot near the Seoul Restaurant, north of the Phnom Penh city hall, at the intersection of Street No. 90 and Monivong Boulevard. The shooter is known as one the bodyguards of Kep Chuktema, the Phnom Penh city governor.
The shooting took place after the general left the Seoul restaurant and it led to one dead and one injured among the general’s bodyguards. On the side of the bodyguard of Kep Chuktema, the man was alone and he was injured also. Several bullets were exchanged during the shooting which took place at 5:40PM on 18 March 2009. The 30-year-old man who died in the shooting was Dy Chanthea, he is the bodyguard of general Chhoeun Chan Thorn, the commander of Chea Sim’s bodyguards unit. Even though the dead bodyguard and the general do not share the same last name, the cops indicated that Dy Chanthea was the younger brother of the general. The other bodyguard of the general who was injured was 32-year-old Un Sarin. A bullet pierced his arm and broke a bone. The sole bodyguard of Kep Chuktema is a man of about 30-year-old.

It is because of anarchy in owning the guns on behalf of many many bodyguards, at the end there will be killing, shooting, and the generals as well as other high ranking officers who are employing bodyguards will one day be killed by those bodyguards.
Cambodian people should not live and survive by building the high fence houses and employing numerous bodyguards.
This thinking shows only the owner of high fence houses and bodyguards have committed crimes.
So, go and see those luxurious houses with high fence and those who are employing bodyguards/escorts are the criminal in their both spirit and daily activities.

Untrue. You don't see Generals, U.S Congress members, or other VIPs with bodyguards killing each other like stoneage, only in a fucking country like fucking Cambodia.
IT is dogs eat dogs environment... Why do these stupid high ups have to have body guards at the first place?
That because they have they have so many enemies. They use these body guards to bully others and their way against the law. They use these body guards to beat innocent people; kill each other like in this case; creating social disorder and creating social classes. I think Hun Sen ought to think twice for permitting these group of people to have body guards with guns... They do no benefits for the country and society.
It's a breaking news and it's a very good news to hear a group of gangsters from Ah Hun Kwak killed one another. Keep doing these killings; it will be less to deal with these criminal and low class people from the CPP. Only high class people from SRP will survive and crash all the bad people within CPP.

How many power hungry politicians advertise themselves as democratic to get to the top? Just look at African military conflicts. Everyone call themselves democractic this and liberating that but all are nothing more than just a power hungry group.
Sam Rainsy is no agent of democracy. He wants the best for himself, using the so-called freedom and democracy ticket to get to the top like everyone else.
If you want to support Sam Rainsy, at least for the loving sake of being an intelligent human being, know that he is a politician and power is what he wants.
