Ponchaud was right. All were evacuated or forced to leave Phnom Penh because there was a real threat of American B52 bombing against the victorious Khmer Rouge. Another reason is their communist ideology. The Khmer Rouge was not willing to feed this million people in Phnom Penh who were their class ennemy not long ago. I believe that the American also should bear responsibility for this inhumanity.

Don't blame American alone. The Chinese and the Vietnamese are big responsible and don't forget including Sihanouk. He played a big role in this atrocity because he helped the Vietnamese to fight the war. Now the Vietnamese paid back by encroaching our land and colonized us. Thank you for your truly help Cambodia by swallowing our land and people, The Vietminh.

In this Khmer Rouge trial the court needs to bring China, Vietnam, Sihanouk, Hun Sen, Chea Sim, Heng Samrin, etc... to stand trial.
