There were alot of Vietcong here 1970.
It was vietcong rouge that started here in early 1970, our Samdach Ta mother fucker is the one that created them here...
yes, that is correct that the KR regime educated or taught people the "class hatred", thus, they used that hatred to kill and abuse people in all the khmer society. that, of course, was a sign of ignorant! who to blame? it was society(the class sytem in previous society e.g. sangkum reastr niyom, etc...) that did not care for people and did not treat everyone fairly that all led to this boiling point during the chaotic time of the KR took over cambodia. yes, it was all about resentment, class hatred combined with ignorant people, poverty, the low of the low class of people rised and took over cambodia. when we study and look back into history, i think it was the regime previously that created this kind of class, the huge gap between the poor and the rich, the rich and famous and the not so rich and famous, the educated against the uneducated, the unequal treatment that seemed to exist in khmer society since before the KR took over i.e. the peasants, the farm workers, the disadvantaged, the handicapped, the impoverished people, etc..., the court has to question and look into these kind of socio-economic inequality in cambodian society at large in order to understand the motive behind the stupid, fanatic KR policy that only knew killing and killing without regard to the larger, competitive world out there. it is hell on earth due to ignorant that seemed to contributed to the KR atrocity. i hope cambodia will become better than that in the future generation. yes, khmer people must get rid of the "class" system and only use the rule of law and level of education in society like that of the USA, the EU, and so on. and definitely do get rid of the impunity system as nobody should be allowed to be above the law of the land in the first place. that's why when we study world history, we often came acrossed countries that make lots of reforms like getting rid of slavery, the fight for human rights, the fights for the rights of women and children, and even the fight for animal rights, etc, etc... cambodia learn from other good society in the world in order to improve our way so atrocity like this won't be allowed to happened again in our country or anywhere in the world for that matter. it all boiled down to the human ignorance, to say the least! thus, we now see the importance of educating everyone in cambodia. knowledge has always been power to do good for all to enjoy. let's demand for real reforms for all of cambodia. i truly believe everyone can learn from each other irregardless of nationality, race, background, languages, social status, etc, etc... problem is being selfish and unwilling to share due to greed and power hunger. let's make or focus on the power position in cambodia and require that position to be academically rigorous as possible e.g. like taking an exam and pass so it won't be automatic so people will work hard and study hard to compete for a power position in cambodia. no more political power dynasty as that was what created the KR atrocity in the first place. as human being, we must strive to search to answer in order to better our country and improve our society so all can enjoy our beautiful country of cambodia. thank you and god bless cambodia.
good idea, in the USA for example one has to take an exam and pass it for most professional jobs; e.g. police officer, mail man, medical doctor, pharmacist, lawyer, accountant, childcare workers, etc, etc, etc..., the list just goes on and on and on... i think cambodia ought to adopt this system from the USA so people will be treated fairly and given equal opportunity as any other, who otherwise have had no network, influential position, and so on. this is one way to build good, rule of law society in cambodia. it is possible to do, you know. cambodia needs effective individuals who determine to help and make a real, concrete difference. god bless cambodia.
i know, when we mention sdach ta, it was all mistakes in his policy; it was short-sightedness on his part as he was the influential leader at the time, and people did look up to king-father as savior for the situation out-of-hand in cambodia back then. perhaps, king-father was ineffective because it goes to show even royalty are human too, you know. like used to say, to err is human. however, what distinguish a smart individual from the rest of unruly people is the ability to make a quick decision or a change of plan when see appropriate; it's like a doctor who makes a sound, quick, reasonable decision to safe life. same concept for good politician, too, you. everything is actually interconnected, believe it or not. please stay in school so to understand about everything in the world. thank you and god bless cambodia.
class hatred to include and not limited here, include the city peole, the rural people, the uneducated and the educated, etc... i hope one thing the world will learn from the whole KR odessy is to not to look down on other people who happened to be less fortunate than you due to whatever reason because, believe it or not, human being do take revenge from resentment. that is why the rule of law was created in the first place so only the law counts as justice; otherwise we all be killing one another like during the stone age or the dark ages again. remember the goldern rule, treat others the way you would want to be treated, you'll god a long way. it's true, god see to it. the rule is you don't have to like someone, but you do have to respect their rights in accordance to the rule of law. god bless cambodia.
one good reform to demand is the abolishment of slavery in cambodia as well. and people should be educated not to look down on other less fortunate than themselves; all for good cause because if we continue to ignore this kind of action, we will misunderstand the motive behind the KR did what they did; yes, it class hatred was one such motive. to fix the gap, we all must look for way to improve or better our society and country. god bless cambodia.
Every Khmer Rouge camrades are the convicted to the crimes of killing 2 million Khmer people during Pol Pot's regime...Every single Khmer Rouges member who are free living inside and outside Cambodia should be on trial..Every former Khmer Rouge had the power on Cambodia..Not only Duch be on trial every single of them...
