Khmer people from Canada, France and other foreign countries wrote to me to reproach me for preferring China to Cambodia, and they asked me to return to live in Cambodia.
I have a 3rd cancer (lymphoma B) which requires special cares (chemotherapy, perfusion, etc…).
The P.R. of China, its high medical science, its eminent doctors, its very competent nurses succeeded in curing me from my previous 2 very serious cancers, they thus rehabilitated me to return back to Cambodia, my Homeland, to serve her and her people.
I love, I respect and I admire enormously the P.R. of China, but I never ceased to serve my Homeland and the Khmer People.
To conclude, allow me to ask these Khmer people from Canada, France, etc… why they are not returning to Cambodia to live there and to serve her, and serve her People[?]

If you are Republican it's your freedom of choice. But your " president" of the Republic will be a " new King" , worse than any dictator in the World.
Don't blame Sihanouk for calling Khmer people to " enter the Maquis". If he didn't so, Khmer People will still join or forced to join the " resistance force", which will be eventually absorbed and endoctrinated and even killed by Pol Pot.
King Sihanouk is good for nothing!
The difference between him and other Khmers abroad is that he can live wherever he wants without need to work (Cambodian government pays everything for him and his family).

The answer as to why many Khmer remain outside of Cambodia:
You failed to serve Cambodia, and her people, in so many respects. Instead of righting the wrongs and taking control you allow yourself to become a puppet to Hun Sen and continue to let the Khmer people suffer.
It has been 30 years since the Killing Fields and yet, the Khmer people still suffer. You failed us.
So long as Cambodia is ruled by incompetent, corrupt rulers, why would we return to "serve" Cambodia when our leaders do not even serve their own people?
