I Do Not Intend to Drop my Law Suit: MP Mu Sochua

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I wish to clarify that I do not intend to withdraw my case from the court. Please rest assured that I intend to go all the way.

Please help bring to the attention of the International Bar Association, the very serious situation faced by my lawyer.

The shift now should be on the Bar as the way the PM's lawyer is able to so far manipulate this so called independent institution.

Ky Tech made many comments about me that could be seen as a clear influence on the court.

The Bar must show its independence. If the Bar considers my case, then the Bar must also consider Ky Tech as well.

This case is not about Mu Sochua, it is about Justice. I said it all along.

I was not given the time to clarify my point on VOA and the next day day RFA made its own interpretation without giving me a chance to clarify my view. Please take this as my personal stance on justice.

I thank all of you inside and outside of Cambodia for standing up with me against a system of justice that I dare challenge, even knowing that I will be dragged thru mud by the government and its very sophisticated system. But justice will prevail.

I would also like to inform all of you that MPs from the opposition will take up this case of intimidation of my lawyer to a higher level and to make this as an evaluation of the judiciary in Cambodia.

Do not think that I will leave my pursuit for justice nor that I fear. If that was the case, I would be on the first plane to the USA.

I continue to live my normal life, be as active as ever politically and continue to jog in the park every evening.

I totally understand that the world is watching and that our people count on me. I will never let you down not my principle to be lowevered. I have taken this path by joining SRP and I know the price we must pay.

I also want to share with you that my party is totally behind me and that you will see that we are about to switch my case to a new level that is about fair trail, rule of law and justice as a whole.

Best wishes,
Mu Sochua

Hello Ms. Mu Sochua,

Although I'm not a political supporter, I'm supporting the principles of justices and democracy you are searching for Cambodia and its people.

I wish you the best of luck.

Yes, go for the justice.

It should be like that. Don't change your mind frequently like Sihanouk. I support you, Mrs. Mu.

Even winning the lawsuit, PM Hun Sen will still be coming out losing. This is not a situation for hime to use "muscle" or intimidation, it is actually an opportunity for him to show that he can be better and matured politician, if he made the right decision. Sometimes you just have to lose the battle to win a war.

These two can be both winner if they resolve this properly. So, let's wait and see. In chess, you some time sacrifice pawns to gain a bigger piece.

At the moment, all CPP power people, Ky Tech, Om Yintieng, CPP MPs, etc., came out very predictibly as eager bullies without even any attempt to appear reasonable. Where does it end? What is the point of having a Bar Association, a judge, or a court if the outcomes will always be in favor of the same group of people???

Why are you posting the same thing again and again?

Most people on this site hate the current government of Cambodia so you are preaching to the already converted.

Take your message to those who continue to love Hun Sen's regime. I am pretty sure that there are not many on this site.

Perhaps Barack Obama might lend you a hand.

Ms Mu can contact Mrs. Clinton. Perhaps, Mrs. Clinton can give a hand and gently push Mr. Strong Man to be a bit sensible...

Bravo! MP thick face Mu Sochua, after using Khmer people as a pretext and a good will gesture to withdraw the defamation against Prime Minister Hun Sen, now you decide to come back to square one? You are really brave in front of microphone, despite you have said all along that you are not afraid to go to jail, but your flip flop position has showed your nerve and desperation in confronting with Prime Minister Hun Sen. I am doubt MP look alike Vietanamese face Mu Sochua will honour her word when Parliement withdrew her immunity.

Cheers

you should have SRP president make a public support for your case.

so fare, no top senior officials from SRP show any support (in public)- but you yourself. Are they fearful of hun sen and his CPP gangs?

you should also post your email address so that everyone can write to support you.

This is the first of ladder of fighting justice, if MP Mu Sochua bravely stands strong as iron, more importantly the people of Khmer in Srok Khmer will be fully and patriotically supported her climbing up the ladder of justice, and eventually sang the song of freedom!

They need to strip HUN SEN for temporary to stand trial. We must let this trial runs fair.

12:34 PM & 12:42 PM,

I don't think neither Barack Obama nor Hilary Clintion would lend her a hand because they are not interested in Mu Sok Huo. Don't ask why me/us why? All I know is that Mu Sok Huo has viet blood. Didn't you all see how she looks like? Have you ever wonder why she looks like an ursurper viet-minh who tried very hard to encroach power on Khmer people and their land... Come people wake up, there are several evidences to prove that Mu Sok Huo is a viet-minh descendant. I can bet my life for that.

So be very cautious Khmer peoeple about those kind of people...

From a real Khmer brother who cares to protect his own kind.

Firstly, my hat go off to all the Khmer compatriots, scholars, intellectuals, and the Khmers around the world in and outside the Khmer Empire nation, who's tirelesly to helps fought for Khmer Krom to reach our independent in the near future.

Secondly, this coming June the fourth Khmer Krom and Khmer around the world will commemorated and observed the lost of Kampuchea Krom 60th aniversaries. To all Khmer around the world, please help participates in this events by seeking the information from Khmer Krom representative everywhere in your community.

Thirdly, my respectfully goes to the team of KI-Media. So far your team had done a tremendous job for the Khmer benefits and keep up the good works.

Fourthly, to all Khmer abroad please bring back The Fourth Factions or Paris Peace Accord unity strategy models. In the early ninety the only Youn pullout from Cambodia because we Khmers had united. Back then king Seyhanouk had all the power, popularity and was incharged. Every body respected him from Khmer perspective and the international community perspective. If I were him I would use this power and popularity to declare to the world community that the Khmer people still under the supression, aggression of Youn and Seam. In doing so, his reputations and credibility will be installed next to the Great Khmer King Jayavarman VII.
In the case of Kampuchea Krom, if we use this exact models we Khmer will once again liberated Kampuchea Krom from the Youn iron grips. And possibly Khmer Krom can declare their independent or reannexed to Cambodia who knows.

Respectively your,

Khmer Empire
