'I'm innocent': Thaksin

Sat, May 16, 2009
The Nation/Asia News Network

Fugitive ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra yesterday issued a statement insisting on his innocence in light of police proceedings to indict him for lese majeste.

"Although I am living in exile abroad, I am a Thai citizen who is staunchly loyal to Their Majesties the King and Queen," Thaksin said in the statement released in Bangkok by Noppadon Pattama, his legal adviser.

He said the accusation that he had insulted the monarchy was unfair and contrary to reality.

None of his remarks had been intended to offend the monarchy, he said.

Thaksin said he fully respected the monarchy and understood it to be a most revered institution in Thailand, beloved by every Thai citizen.

A smear campaign exists to persecute him and paint him as disloyal, he said, adding that public prosecutors had thus far dropped all charges related to lese majeste.

The ousted prime minister reminded all parties concerned that national reconciliation could not be realised if injustice prevailed and said his opponents should stop trying to cement his political downfall with trumped-up charges.

He vowed to fight to prove his innocence to the full extent of the law.

Thaksin Shinawatra was an honest man who used to served people until 2006, was deposed by a military coup, manipulated by the group of yellow shirst(middle class, urban, riches, intellectuall). Thasink a brave man must continue his battle against dictator, to get people right back.

11:56PM,
Before you wish them war, please learn and get some knowledge by reading or watching Dr. Giles Ungpakorn first.

He is a British great non-biased Scholar. He was born from a British mother and a Sino-Thai Father in England, and his book made King Bhumibol and his Military Dictator want to arrest and kill him.

In one episode Dr. Giles speak of Preah Vihear and insisted that PAD should respect Cambodia and what belongs to her. He also urged that people in South of Thaialnd should choose their way of life to live because Southerna part belongs to Malaysia.

Last before you want them to kill each others, you listen to Dr. Giles careful, that millions of Red shirts are poor and majority of them are Khmers. They are Khmers your own blood. Now do you wnat them to die?

The PAD yellow shirts said to the red shirts "You are not Thais then go to live somewhere else."
Where should they go to live somewhere else if the land they now live belongs to them since Khmer Empire?

I was crying to see Khmers in Thailand live. The Chakri family is too rich whereas the poor people live like animals.

Socialism or Communism is good for Thailand.

Dr. Giles Ungpakon is a socialist activist and he joined with Taksin a Communist activist. They both are Red shirts.

All political parties in Thailand using Lese Majesty to attack each others. King Bhumibol shot his brother and then took the crown may be military coup behind him. Bhumibol and military dictator do the business together.

The Red Shirts rise so fast in most Provinces in Thailand.

Firstly, my hat go off to all the Khmer compatriots, scholars, intellectuals, and the Khmers around the world in and outside the Khmer Empire nation, who's tirelesly to helps fought for Khmer Krom to reach our independent in the near future.

Secondly, this coming June the fourth Khmer Krom and Khmer around the world will commemorated and observed the lost of Kampuchea Krom 60th aniversaries. To all Khmer around the world, please help participates in this events by seeking the information from Khmer Krom representative everywhere in your community.

Thirdly, my respectfully goes to the team of KI-Media. So far your team had done a tremendous job for the Khmer benefits and keep up the good works.

Fourthly, to all Khmer abroad please bring back The Fourth Factions or Paris Peace Accord unity strategy models. In the early ninety the only Youn pullout from Cambodia because we Khmers had united. Back then king Seyhanouk had all the power, popularity and was incharged. Every body respected him from Khmer perspective and the international community perspective. If I were him I would use this power and popularity to declare to the world community that the Khmer people still under the supression, aggression of Youn and Seam. In doing so, his reputations and credibility will be installed next to the Great Khmer King Jayavarman VII.
In the case of Kampuchea Krom, if we use this exact models we Khmer will once again liberated Kampuchea Krom from the Youn iron grips. And possibly Khmer Krom can declare their independent or reannexed to Cambodia who knows.

Respectively your,

Khmer Empire
