King-Father wishes eternal victory for the CPP

Ex-king Norodom Sihanouk prays to Lord Buddha, angels, all former Cambodian kings to protect the CPP and its leaders, as well as its eternal victory. Sihanouk’s well wishes came in a royal letter dated 23 May. In this letter, the ex-king compared the actions taken by Lonnolians to those of the CPP-ists on him.
In the letter titled “Back and White”, the ex-king said that republican Lonnolians owe him a lot, including their honor, their top-ranking positions, their power and their wealth etc… However, starting on 18 March 1970 [date of the coup d’état toppling Sihanouk from power] and up until now (2009), as well as in the future, this group will continue to hate him, unfairly defame him and scorn him.
The diseased-ridden ex-king who is currently in medical care in Beijing, China, added that the CPP, its leadership (Samdach Pothisva Chea Xim, Samdach Ponhea Chabtrey Heng Xamrin, and Samdach Dek Chor Hun Xen) and its party members never received any help nor prerogatives from him whatsoever. But, quite to the contrary, they (CPP) gave him and his wife everything: highest honor, justice and money, etc…
This is not the first time that ex-king Sihanouk expresses his gratefulness to the CPP. In the past, he used to mention that the ruling CPP not only provided him justice, they also gave life to the defunct monarchy as well. Samdach Dek Chor Hun Xen also used to claim on several occasions that only the CPP defends the constitutional monarchy.
Last week during an inauguration of high school in Ang Snuol district, Hun Sen announced a political declaration in which he promised to protect the monarchy in Cambodia.
Hun Sen told the public that he ordered his children in front of king Sihamoni that they should continue to defend the throne. Hun Sen directly told leaders of the Funcinpec and NRP parties that they should stop claiming to be the only royalist parties, and they should set up a new policy to compete in the upcoming elections instead.
