PHNOM PENH - CAMBODIA on Saturday rebuked Thailand for reopening a debate over an ancient temple on their disputed border that has led to seven soldiers being killed.
High-ranking Thai officials this week asked world heritage body Unesco to reconsider its decision to formally list the 11th century Preah Vihear temple, as ownership of land surrounding the ruins is still in dispute.
Soldiers from Cambodia and Thailand continue to patrol the area and occasional outbreaks of violence between them have triggered gunbattles that have killed seven troops in the past year.
But Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong told reporters that soldiers would be ready to defend their land again if necessary.
'Cambodia welcomes Thailand militarily, diplomatically, internationally or through peaceful negotiations,' Hor Namhong said.
'(But) it (border fighting) has happened twice... (so) if they want to send their troops to Cambodia a third time, we will welcome them too,' he said.
Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva made a one-day visit to Cambodia last week in an attempt to push forward border talks, but his subsequent comments only appear to have reignited the dispute.
'I heard that the second Thai commander on the border put his troops on alert and I'd like to tell them that Cambodian soldiers are also on alert,' Mr Hor Namhong added.
Cambodia and Thailand have been at loggerheads over the land around the Preah Vihear temple for decades, but tensions spilled over into violence last July when the temple was granted UN World Heritage status.
The border between the two countries has never been fully demarcated, in part because it is littered with landmines left over from decades of war in Cambodia.

I was told recently by two of the high ranking Officer and Official of HUN SEN Goeverment that the deal on business contracts were agreed mutually between HUN SEN and SIAM on tourism and trades , the SIAM has their own evidences as well on that agreement, now HUN SEN already cleared out the KHMER people who had been residing there long long time ago rigth next to PREAH VIHEA...... and still no legal or international actions from HUN SEN against the encroaching agressively by the SIAM Military
Look at MONDULKIRY , RATTANAKIRY and other numerous places our own original KHMER LOEUR Peolpe could not resist the land grabbing forcibly by HUN SEN and their lands have been belonging to our KHMER LOEUR 's ancestors since we started our nations
And the mutual games are being played by HUN SEN and SIAM dragging from time to time without end.

We Cambodian had international , regional support, we were ready to defense our motherland against Thai
Bandits.
New Phally
Hey ah Freaking idiot fake Phally,
Quit kidding yourself.
Don't claim yourself to be an official of ah Hun Sen if you don't know shit about what ah Hun Sen Viet-controlled government is all about:
Cambodia only has scarecrow/ghost Army, Navy and Air forces...Have any one seen any military/navy/air forces base in Cambodia???
In one word they exist only in name and they are there to scare and finish Khmer people off for the new generation Viet-Khmer Federation of Indochina.
Some of those army, navy and Air forces generals don't even have a high school degree but they have been decorated with Ph.D from Hanoi left and tight by the Viet and show up as Hun Sen's entourage just to look good in photos ops.
Remember HUN SEN has a military pact with Vietnam.
Should there be any war or any real show of forces necessary, ah HUN SEN will call upon the Viet and guess what:
THE VIET FORCES WILL BE POURING INTO CAMBODIA AND THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL - THE VIET WILL LEGALLY DIG IN AND WILL NEVER LEAVE THEIR VIET-CAMBODIA NEW BASES OF THE SO-CALLED FEDERATION OF INDOCHINA.
So do not wish for it sooner that necessary because you WILL get it.
Now you may have an idea as to what and why ah HUN SEN is doing what he is doing vis-a-vis the annoying acts of the Thai on the Preah Vihear issue.
If war break out,
cambodian Slingshot against Thai F16?
Don't worry, remembered US army in Indochina. We don't have F16, but we fight with heart for our Kingdom of Khmer and our ancestor.

The firt thing, you need to learn is finish your grammar school first, then try to write your essay more clearly, understandable.
Just remember, several week ago our Khmer brave soldiers had shot your Thai Bandits soldiers to dead
on the battlefield.
2:57PM.
And you too. You need to check your typographical errors and grammar as well.
"Fist" thing not firt thing.
several "weeks" ago not several week ago.
"bandit" and "soldier" both are nouns. It should be bandit-soldiers.
2:57PM. (correction)

"First" thing not firt thing.
several "weeks" ago not several week ago.
"bandit" and "soldier" both are nouns. It should be bandit-soldiers.
even the correction is incorrect. It comes to show that most only debates are written in the heat and moments and nobodies care to bother or check their grammar and spelling.
In light of this unofficial unspoken rule of to h*ll with grammar, why does everyone still makes a big fuss over it?
Obviously if you understood the poor opponent's points then he made them as he intended, with or without grammar errors.
so this leads on to one conclusion, people who fuss with each other about grammar are really just annoyed by each other's views. They just can't agree and can't respect to disagree, that's all it comes down to. But no one can admit that so it's then displaced into the 'grammar' and 'spelling' fundamental criticisms as if each person is an author writing his/her own books and making a campaign to outdo his rivals in sales.
it just seem to me like people who fight on grammar rules are the same people who are sore losers in challenges of any kind.
i mean, to hell with grammar. Look at my first sentence from the post above, it doesn't even make sense. But who really cares to go about fixing everything he/she wrote with a second post that says: "corrections: here is what my post should look like" ?
I can guess, and I rather not anyone attempt to prove anything of their proficiency in English, because i don't really give a dam. If I can make out what other people are attempting to say, that is good enough for me for an informal INTERNET posts.
Well, judging on how 2:57 PM writes English one can safely say he/she has at least 2 Ph.D(s) if not more...hahaha, ROFL!
Cambodia should take thailand to the United Nations to solve the problems.
