An official invitation was sent to Hun Sen for a visit to France. The trip could take place in July.

Last week, Hun Sen was officially invited to visit France. “He received an official letter on 28 May,” Koy Kuong, spokesman for the ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed.

Hun Sen had already indicated that he accepts the invitation. The trip is planned for July. For the time being, the exact date has not been fixed yet, but it could take place in mid-July. In 2008, the French president invited about 50 foreign head of states to view the 14 July (French Bastille day) parade.

Hun Sen’s last visit to France took place in 2005. During his talk with Jacques Chirac, then-president of France, on 19 September 2005, Hun Sen discussed about a document regarding the 2006-2010 cooperation [with France], about irrigation, and the KR tribunal.

I think we should propose a new university in Phnom Penh (or on the outskirts of the capital), and name if after the popular "PPU." The new university shall be named the "People's Party University."

What do you think, Manat?

French cannot be trusted. French is doing sth for its own interests and its people by neglecting the suffereing of other country like its ex-colonial Cambodia.
Staying and wirking with French there will be no future, without French, we will have more developments.
Get out of Cambodia, the French.

Hun Sen should also take this opportunity to discuss about the 4th June 1949 illegal treatment that French gave Khmer Krom to Vietnam.

To 3:20 PM and 3:22 PM, don't be too generalized, guys!

Each country tries to do sth in favor of its interest! I find it normal if i were a leader.

I assume you guys used to hear the name "Professor Alain Deloche"- a frenchman who is president of "La Chaine de l’Espoir".

Since early in 1997, he and his team help and guide medical and surgical procedures perform heart surgery in Cambodia.

THIS help many Cambodians as the majority are children, WHAT A NOBLE ACT!

It is only one example, there are the other french well-known have also done similar works in Khmerland.

good idea. may be this could influent him to reform cambodia as exposure is good for everybody. we all can learn from everybody else on this planet, you know. stop being selfish and mean about it. if he stays isolated, then he will never learn. yes, travel the world and see the world, this way, people can bring back good ideas to cambodia for reforms, etc... god bless cambodia.
