PHNOM PENH - CAMBODIA'S health minister on Saturday announced the country's first domestic case of swine flu, days after its first infections were reported among visiting American students.
One Cambodian national and one Filipino traveller had tested positive for the A(H1N1) virus, Mam Bun Heng told AFP, bringing the country's toll to six.
'(They) are now being taken good care of at hospital and are getting better,' he told AFP on Saturday.
'We are working hard to... prevent more domestic infections within our country,' he added.
Four US students on a school trip in Cambodia were confirmed this week as the country's first cases of the virus.
Globally, the World Health Organization says nearly 60,000 cases of the disease have now been recorded, with 263 deaths.

I couldn't agree more with you. Ah lop 2:14 pm and all his kind that call other Khmer this and that are themselves probably less Khmer than the people they accuse of. It's as if they feel insecure about their identity and feel the need to question others so they feel better about themselves.
Not to take away anything from Khmer overseas but those that talk shit about Viet moving into Cambodia. Guess what buddy. You left your country and other people come in and take your place. Eventually, they, youn, would become more Khmer than you while you who claim to be Khmer be more and more distant from the Khmer identity. Many Khmer overseas kids don't even speak decent Khmer if any at all. So, don't feel pissed if Youn or any other people come to live in Cambodia because sooner or later, these immigrants will become more Khmer than you just like how you go from an immigrant to a citizen of your new country.

It's very disturbing to know that you are so content to have yuons in your country.What is sad is your lack of knowledge about yuon's history ,their behavior and their dominant spirit.You have to know that yuon love yuon and yuon never like or trust khmer clear and simple .The time will come when they are in complete control of your country and you become a second class citizen of your own land , then you will figure it out.Look at the khmer krom now and use it as a prime example .

I just happen to know Lok Ta Heng Samrin background. He is Sino_Khmer. His dark skin has nothing to do with he is Khmer of decent Chinese. His wife is Vietnamese. I don't know about Chea Sim.
