A new national airline plans to start its flight on 18 July 2009. A source at the Phnom Penh International Airport told The Phnom Penh Post that the newly formed national airline plans to start its domestic flight on 18 July 2009. The new national airline will be baptized Angkor Kampuchea Airline, it is a joint venture between the Cambodian government and Vietnam Airline. The same anonymous source told The Phnom Penh Post that the Cambodian government own 51% shares of the new airline and the remainder 49% will be owned by Vietnam Airline. The new airline plans to fly two routes at its start: one route from Korng Keng Airport in Sihanoukville to Siem Reap, and the second route from Korng Keng to Phnom Penh. The new airline will fly ATR turboprop planes produced by France. The source did not provide the amount of startup funding for the new airline.

I personally like the ATR-72 Turboprop, although in the article failed to mention the series or version (e.g. ATR72-100, ATR72-500). Nevertheless, this is a very nice airplane to fly; good control stability, and somewhat-glass-cockpit intruments, i.e. HSI (horizontal situation indicator, and AI (attitude indicator); also, I hope the package options include the TCAS (Traffic 'Alert' Collision System). Plus, it is a peace of mind to have, because it lets you know who's in the vicinity, even the pilots have 1,000 feet vertical separation (even or odd attitude) -- particularly head on --so to avoid collide into another aircraft.
Again, nice aircraft, I personally flew this baby back in the 1990s. But I really like my Bombardier Learjet 45. Oops! Did I just blew my horn? Well, I like my lifestyle nonetheless.
Anyhow, now, the pilots can taxi on on the runway using our new and improved taxiway.
Good day, folks!

Replace the speed sensor on this damn plan asap!
Replace Pouk Ah CeePeePee asap!

This particulary aircraft have the most technologically advanced pitot tube (fluid dynamic sensor) and static ports of the pitot system, which measures the pressure of air (outside airflow) entering the tubes thus allows sensors measure the speed and the airflow and angle of flight. Therefore, at least for the time being, these aircraft do not need to replace anything. In fact, the pilots can fly the airplane with the pitot tubes (most large aircraft have two), with the exception of Puok Ah Jkuot Jruok Scum Rainsy's supporters' attitudes and uncivilized behaviors of their country.
Oh, by the way, I will be at the next week's centennial Paris Air Show on June 15 (don't forget the badge), and I will make sure that my pitot tubes covers -- plastic covers that prevent any debris entering into the tubes -- are removed prior to takeoff (of coure, it's part of pre-flight inspection).

Correction & verification:
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN: "...Puok Ah Jkuot Jruok Scum Rainsy's supporters' attitudes and uncivilized behaviors toward their country."
NOT: "...Puok Ah Jkuot Jruok Scum Rainsy's supporters' attitudes and uncivilized behaviors of their country."
