The Clean Hand Concert was well organized and attracted 50,000 audience
It was a great opportunity to spread out anti corruption message and slogans.
But one weak thing of this event is US always the front. Support by USAID, organized by Pact and attended by US ambassador. What mean by that action? I could not see the Cambodians or Local NGO movement at all. Do you think this is good strategy to fight corruption? I recalled on 2005, Pact commission to Economic Institute of Cambodia to do Corruption Assessment in Private Sector and the result of survey come out present to public during that day I heard the strong reaction from Prime Minster Hun Sen by saying that it is foreigner brain, the stupid economist....
It would be good to hand those activities to local NGO by giving them a technical training, long term funding, let them mobilize Cambodian people to fight corruption.
