Where there's development, there's Hun Xen ... where there are forced evictions, corruption, travesty of justice, there's Hun Xen behind them also

Comment from Anonymous KI-Media Reader:

What can you expect from a[n] agenda-based people like KI. They omit things that don't support their view and only pick things to show to you that helps support their agenda. KI isn't concerned about the Cambodian people. Their main goal is to criticize the Hun Sen's government in any form they can.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYIukW3TlLU&feature=channel_page

You won't find any of this sort of information like the link above on site like this. Like, I said, their goal is to attack the Hun Sen's government. Therefore, they omit any good things from Cambodia as they see it doesn't serve their purpose and goal to make Cambodia look bad under Hun Sen's rule.

That is not a patriotic cause. It is a selfish politically motivated agenda. That is not putting your country first. That is putting their own asses before anything else.

KI-Media Notes:

In case our respected reader above did not notice yet, it appears that the video posted above only boasts about Hun Xen's achievement and nobody else. Does this mean that Cambodia consists only of Hun Xen alone? Is there anybody else besides Hun Xen in Cambodia? Where does Mr. Hun Xen find all the funds to achieve all these developments by himself alone?

Criticizing Hun Xen is not a patriotic cause? We leave it to Ambassador Julio Jeldres to provide his eloquent answer on this issue.

Finally, as for KI-Media not being concerned about Cambodian people, may we ask what our respected reader's nationality is? Should our respected reader turns out to be of Khmer origin, we are wondering why he is commenting in a blog that is not concerned about Cambodian people?

Finally, we are puzzled as to why our respected reader decide to remain anonymous? With his/her strong support to Mr. Hun Xen, wouldn't he/she likes to make his meritorious name known to Cambodia's kleptocratic ruling leaders?

As usual, we are always glad to be of service ...

Yours truly,

KI-Media team

I somehow agree with anonymous reader. KI should be more objective with this view. Clearly we know it is a pro-sam rainsy. If KI does not even care about its own professionalism and objectivity, why should anyone? I comdemn a lot of aspects of this regime, but if we are to say soemthing about them, why don't we say something about sam rainsy when he does some stupid things!

I am the anonymous reader that posted this. My nationality is Cambodian and ethnicity is Khmer but what doesn't it matter? Do you have to be Khmer to be taken seriously here? That is your problem. Your blatant racist underlining way of thinking is what won't get you anywhere with the mass.

Whether I as a person am concerned about Khmer suffering or not is not the issue here. Don't divert the focus and shift the objectivity of this issue that I brought up. The focus here is whether KI is concerned about the general Khmer suffering and problems or only using those problems to discredit and attack the Hun Sen's government.

Why am I anonymous on here? Why don't you ask 99% of the posters on here that same question as well? I am just one of the majority of the anonymous posters on here. You never asked this to any other anonymous person on here who goes in line with your thinking but when one anonymous user like me expresses his thoughts that oppose you, you call him out? People that reader this, you be the judge of that double standard and mentality of the people at KI on this matter. Thanks

p.s. If you ask where Hun Sen gets all of his money from, I am not him or close associate so I don't know but I would like you to ask similar question to Sam Rainsy, someone that this KI site never mention any criticism about (maybe Sam Rainsy is some kind of god that has no flaws or maybe KI is as blind as they call others when it comes to the guy they sympathize), where does Sam Rainsy get the money to afford to put his daughter Rachel through Harvard or Yale, one of those prestigious universities. The average tuition there is in the hundred of thousands a year. Now where does he get all that money? I don't think this position in the government pays that well for him to afford that kind of college tuition.

Maybe some of that money they raised from you under the banner of helping Khmer people actually goes into helping pay for Sam Rainsy's daughter tuition and life style instead? I don't know. Maybe, you should ask for transparency with the money you give to leader Sam Rainsy, eh?

KI responded to the issue raised here isn't even relevant. It seems KI has been called out on what it is and has nothing to respond but to play "hey what is that thing over there?" diversion tactic to shift the focus from the real issue here.

Haven't we all seen enough of this dodging the questions or simply not answering it during the presidential election when someone in the audience asks Obama or McCain questions that they don't want to answer?

You can criticize KI, but if you criticize HX, you will be arrested there.

Why don’t you HX supporters provide your own news instead in this Blog. People can decide. All you just whine, but never provide any news! Should KI provide something to please you? I don’t thing so.

KI provides different point of view that you HX supporters can’t see because the government would not show.

From where has ah Hun Xen the money?
The Government's money and hun Xen has corrupt from Country and from our nation!!!

Hey just answer that question: Where does Sam Rainsy get the money to put his daughter Rachel through that expensive university? lol It seems people on here avoid that question and just go to their usual Hun Sen shits. Answer that Sam Rainsy's question, please. :)

"Why don’t you HX supporters provide your own news instead in this Blog."

Exactly the point of this debate. You are living in a bubble. The issue here is to expose KI as a Sam Rainsy tool, not really a genuine neutral site that "brings sensitive information" from Cambodia.

Tell me sensitive information about Sam Rainsy party's corruptions and their officials being kicked out of their party because of the affairs if you're not biased.

The point of this is KI is just another propaganda machine on behalf of Sam Rainsy as it accuses others of the CPP.

A propaganda tool is easily exposed as we have seen here. One guy's comment makes KI scramble to try to defend itself. When you get so defensive so easily, you must have something to hide.

KI-Media is a propaganda site just as the government's media. KI-Media's response proves the reader's point. They themselves also stay anonymous. The site is biased and often distorts the truth. It seems to see only the bad things and often reports them with some kind of gloating, or 'schadenfreude' as the Germans call it so aptly. KI-Media is made by and for overseas Khmer who for the most part have nothing to contribute to Cambodia. Using Julio Jeldres to bolster their cause is again proof of their one-sidedness as Mr. Jeldres sees things with Sihanoukian eyes, which in itself makes it a distortion of history. The commenters are mostly lower-class, blue-collar Khmer who obviously barely made it through high-school. It's better to just to just stay from this site, which I have decided to do, except for the occasional glimpse like today.

KI provides current events in Cambodia. Free of charge.

Oversea khmers care about Cambodia and that is why they spend valuable time to point out the corruption, injustice, and sold-out Cambodia natural resources.

you cannot have even this kind of debate with TVs or radios owned by the government. I think PPU and the disturbed reader should feel free to leave the site.

PPU represent a tyrant in the lowest quality - the dissented annonymous reader is a tyrant who tried to look civil in sheep clothing. Prove me that you have this kind of liberty with any of government media agencies???

KI is here to give readers the facts .. whats going on in cambodia .. for readers who are not in cambodia . 11:01 , if you think KI is bias , why are you wasting your time here ? go to Hun Sen's website and read whatever they lie to you there .

Anonymous said...

Ah PPU , you have been kissing hun sen's ass all your life ... you should know that answer .

Hey 9:18 pm
Have you heard of student loan ? or have you ever been to college ? I guess not .

don't forget that most people lived on state land since the fall of the KR, so, when gov't request them back for development, etc, please don't be so greedy, get whatever compensation gov't give and go start a new live elsewhere. imagine, if srp were in power and they too need state land back for redevelopment, etc, they too will evict unruly people. same concept here, hello! get with the program, will you!

After reading the Anonymous Reader post and KI post. It is obvious that KI news is only intended to attack the Government of Cambodia. As KI said on their last paragraph, "With his/her strong support to Mr. Hun Sen". I believe the Anonymous Reader just wanted to read a more balance news from KI. That last comment by KI really show their view toward other readers who just want to read a more positive news of Cambodia, they are nothing more than Hun Sen supporters. How sad KI.
