A report from an army official indicated that the situation along the Cambodian-Thai border is remaining still, however, both troops are constantly on alert in case an incident would occur.
The same source indicated that Thailand dug trenches, sent in armaments, tanks, troops and heavy artillery and posted them in the region located in front of Veal Entry (Eagle Field) and Phnom Trop hill on 28 July 2009, in the area where past armed clashes took place. Thai bullying its neighbor who still recovering from history of wars. What kind of neighbor is that?
Khmer defense department still claims there is no tense situation along the border yet. They must have a blind eyes. When your enemy builds up the troops along the border, it means they prepare to invade our country soon.
So why we're still asleep? They're better prepare before it's too late. We need to counter them by building up our troops on our side too to show the strength.
Stop talking to the enemy and sit and wait to shoot them if they cross our border. How many times we keep talking to them and come out with no conclusion? Ah Siem tries to play game.
i wish thai sent some more armore and anything can down cambodia .but i let thai goverment ,all khmer troops knew how to use all those weapon
Maybe the Thais war is what we need to remove this CPP dictatorship strong hold of Cambodia. I can tell you right now that the Thais hate the Viets..hate them with a passsion. Remember it was the Thais that allow the three fractions of Shihanouk, KR, and Son San armies to gather on their lands. To chose between the two evils, I would chose the Thais over the damn Vietcons!

I thought CPP has some tactics that they learned from Vietnam and China. When Thais bowed and shook hands in PP, at back home Thais prepared for war. Thais learned from Ho Chi Minh: spread propaganda like Puth Tumneay to soft Khmers then infiltration started later.
Like someone said: the climate changes, Vietnam will be submerged into the sea is just for Vietnam's political advantage to march toward West. The prediction by Scientists could be false, and who knows they also could be corrupted.
