No offend but just comment..I think if you wanna be called as "Khmer Mchas Srok" please check the grammar of your invitation letter first..There are lots of mistake and you are saying that you are trying to save the identity of the Khmer People..
Well, my english is not good..it is not a problem coz I am not english native speaker..I am Khmer native speaker....But if Khmers wanna claim to be Khmer, they should begin from this simple thing first, the language..

He was just pointing out the irony of some people calling themselves Khmer and accusing others of something else but at the same time the same people can't even write proper Khmer language. I guess that is just the typical Khmer idiocy. Those people think so highly of themselves. They think they are the only true Khmer patriots and think others are slaves of someone else.
Reality check. You people ain't even the citizen of Cambodia anymore. The Viet, Chinese, etc... immigrants will take your place and keep the Khmer culture alive and inherit the Khmer land while you overseas folks keep drifting further away from the Khmer culture. I know many Khmeroverseas kids that don't even speak the language. Just wait for a few more generations, most of the Khmer overseas will lose connection with the Khmer culture completely.
Please consider this as constuctive criticism:
1. Do not write Khmer by translating it from English (that's what happening here).
2. Typos is one thing but when write bad English is a different matter altogether, e.g "survive" as opposed to "survival"?
And a lot more....one suggestion - please find competent people to get onboard if we were to succeed, please?

here's a suggestion as well: if not everyone can attend the meeting in person, is there a way they can participate in the discussion by using the blog or internet chat site? this way, it is useful to have different options, if due to some circumstance, someone can't attend in person. thanks.
we should also ask this question: is this good or bad to be a member of indochina federation, which by the way, i dislike this name a lot because it is reminiscent of the old french colonial era. anyway, do keep in mind too that in this day and age, cambodia and the entire region of mainland southeast asia is different as well. in short, a lot has changed since the old days, particular after the dark period but brief period of the KR era. i mean we all got to be smarter and learn to think in a broader sense, not a narrow-minded type of frame of mind. i think we could encourage thinking and brainstorming for better vision and ideas, etc... that's a good start. be willing to take critics as well as suggestion, input, feedbacks, etc... make it like a classroom learning experience like the one we see and participated in college classes all over america. thank you.
i think it's smart to consider adjusting or modifying our foreign policy to cater to this changing world as well. now, do we really depending on each other, meaning not just khmer and khmer, but khmer and other races as well. can we avoid not mingling with them (neighboring countries)? how can we help cambodia to become better in terms of prosperity, poverty alleviation, education for everyone, jobs for everyone, export/import market for our products such as fish, agriculture products, and so forth. these are some good subjects to discuss at the meeting. be broad and always keep in mind the world around us, the changing world that is.

Remember on thing. Khmer adapts and adjusts well beyond anybody's imagination. While the Viet adapts and adjusts to survive, to prosper and to abolish Khmer, Khmer under Sihanouk and Hun Sen's leadership just adapt and change themselves to becoming the Viet's slave.

TORTURE AND MURDER ON PRAK SITHA WHILE IN CUSTODY BY MISNISTRY OF INTERIOR OFFICIAL
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed torture and murder.
"On the night of January 16, 2003, a street youth named Prak Sitha was beaten to death at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) headquarters after he was arrested and detained by off-duty MOI officers on suspicion of theft. His body - bearing numerous injuries to the head, torso, arms, and legs - was dumped at a Phnom Penh pagoda the following morning by ministry officers, in violation of police regulations regarding deaths in custody. No criminal charges were filed in connection with this death. In December 2004, the case was cited by the UN secretary-general's special representative for human rights in Cambodia - who stated that Prak Sitha died at the ministry "following beatings by a known police officer" - as an example of a "consistent and continuing pattern of impunity" in Cambodia."

Mean Sokchea was detained by the police overnight but was then released, allegedly after intervention by Hing Bun Heang. Put Samphor's family received US$2,700 from Mean Sokchea, and the police told them that their daughter was shot while authorities were chasing robbers."

I have read the invitation letter in Khmer and have found no problem with it. I understand perfectly well what the letter tries to say.
Why don't you write the orginization a letter and point to them the grammatical mistake(s) you think they have made instead of attacking them on this forum?
You cannot judge an organization by just a small grammatical mistake they make (I don't find any) in their invation letter. By the same token I won't judge you or your character or even your knowledge for the grammatical mistake you make when you write in Cambodian.
A grammar is simply an observation of how the language is used by the majority. It is not intended to make everyone follow forever. When most people of the country stop following that rule or allow a variation of it, then the grammar needs to be changed to reflect the new way of using the language.

you are absolutely spot on and I agree with you totally. Persons who give sordid comments about KMS are the losers not a fighters. They serve their boredom and frustration to spend their productive time to hurt others and do nothing else. At least we can see KMS have done a terrific job despite the English they wrote is not up to the best standard as expect but they still do what they believe it's the rights thing to do for Khmer people and Cambodia. Keep going KMS keep going do not listen or deter by this Dankov Ach because even they will turn to butterfly they are still stinking.
A common mistake made by khmer people is the tendency to jump on the bandwagon believing that Khmer Mchas Sroc is going to save Cambodia. Is this the kind of political movement that will bring solutions to problems faced by khmer people? Can KMS politically compete with the current cambodian govt.? These are real quesions I challenge KMS to answer. No BS please.
There is one thing every nation can be saved is Strong Science and Technology.
Even the superpowerful nation like the US can collapse if science and technology collapse.
All companies in Europe non-English speaking countries like France, Germany, .. etc., strongly require their employees to learn and speak English.
Because they have to work and deal with their clients at oversea in everywhere on the planet, and those nations speak only English.
Khmer Mchas Srok or no Srok cannot help to save Cambodia or save themselves.
Poeple used weapons to fight wars, and today people attack the enemy through cyberspace. If the enemy like China can break through our US security with all everything we stored in computers, we will be all be shitted troubles.
Techonoly!!!Somewhere I read that Vietnamese Communists have global networks. Their propagandas almost like leaflets we read in Cambodia, exept that they use internet as a cyberwar or their battle ground to spread their propagandas. They make themselves like they are one of us, and they pick the subject that we are so crazy about to divide us, and they are realy good with flattery. When we are busy fighting they have time to do something in Cambodia.
