It is an easy job for vietnam, Why draw a map when vietnam needs to redraw only the border. Whole two countries become one! easy!
Hun Sen haft blind and getting old can't read it. Anyone can read it for him, will get him upset.

Cambodia will become Camb-indochina. And our king will be very happy to see his kingdom grows overnight. Spastic!

I can tell all Khmers. France was our protectorate for 90 years by 1953, without France the name of Cambodia was disappeared by now, it means that Cambodia was a part of Thailand and Vietnam, that is the true history of Khmer after Angkor Period.
The policy of King Sihanouk was and is: when he had problem with Communist block, he belled the UN, esp. West countries for helping. After he got a full help from the west countries then he turned to be good friends with his old friends (Communist) with west countries money. Which former communist countries on the Globe who take care the refugues of war like the west countries? NO.

The problem of Khmers is forgetten their history like the rain yesterday.

Does Cambodian history repeat itself again? Is the Cambodian team well-trained enough to put up with the long-term sly Vietnamese while being frontally attacked by the short-term feral Thais?

May Cambodian Baromeys guide our true leaders!

now, that's asking too much. asking youn to help khmer draw map? that is like asking the wolf to guard the lamp! the blind is leading the blind again! be smarter cambodia! i suggest look beyond young for technical assistant, etc... youn is no better than cambodia, ok. maybe in a few more years, cambodia will be better than youn and siem for that matter! it 's ignorant to look to youn for help to draw map, etc... do you mean ask youn to cooperate in demarcating the border lines or ask youn to help draw map? be careful, youn will steal from khmer! wake up, khmer! keep your eyes open at all time!

Dear all Khmers abroad and domestic,
I don' t think that we as Khmers have no enough engineers for creating such border map. But that is the Cambodian policy, the own people they don't trust but foreigner like Vietnam is better because VN is thier Boss in shadow. But Khmer have never understand about this.

It seems Cambodia's greatest misfortune is not only being numerically disadvantaged, but also politically outfoxed by both of them.

Some Cambodians, not immediately driven off their ancestral farms - as thousands of Khmer farmers have been along the border with our Eastern neighbours throughout the eighties and nineties - are complacent in their thinking that in this day and age with international mechanisms like the UN and regional alliances of many shapes, crude territorial ambitions or expansionist designs between nations would seem implausible at best and counterproductive at worst.

A careful reading of the history of international disputes and the role undertaken by mediating bodies including ASEAN will testify to the unwielding and ineffectual character of these mechanisms. The extent to which these organisations can be said to be productive or effective at all depends somewhat on the collective political will or consensus of its members, trying to obtain which, where the Security Council is concerned, is akin to trying to find a snow ball in Alaska.

Many diplomats have now admitted that the reason why Cambodian people had been left on their own for so long, particularly, in the eighties was because of the Cold War and hence the decisive influence of the Permanent Members of the Council in relations to ending the Cambodian conflict.

In principle, there is nothing wrong with widening mutually beneficial co-operation between two neighbouring countries, but this must be proceeded between equals on a level playing field as is the case with Germany and France; two traditional foes not dissimilar to our own. Note: unlike Vietnam and Cambodia, Germany and France are leading democracies, and not mock ones.

If Cambodia requires such technical assistance I suggest she turns to Western countries instead. After all, the only country known to have kidnapped another country's mapping expert was Vietnam, and that expert was Cambodian.
