Power companies in the Mekong Delta provinces of Tra Vinh and Soc Trang will invest about VND532 billion (US$30 million) to bring electricity to more than 30,000 Khmer households.
At a meeting in Tra Vinh Friday, Electricity of Vietnam’s Power Company No. 2 said it would fix 207 kilometers of medium voltage lines, 654 kilometers of low voltage lines and install 418 transformation stations in 83 communes in the province.
The facilities, which will require VND227 billion ($13 million), will serve some 20,000 households, including 12,400 Khmer people.
Also on Friday, Soc Trang Power Company’s Director Huynh Minh Hai said the company would spend VND305 billion ($17 million) installing power lines and transformers to bring electricity to another 20,000-plus Khmer households.

I beleive Khmer or Khmer Krom can live without electricity but can't without land and freedom.
khmerkrom need freedom and seft independent!!!!khmerkrom need khmer language in school, khmerkrom need tv broadcast in khmer langauge, news paper, radio, and magazine, textbook, temple. khmerkrom must fight to the end i belive some day some how khmerkrom can fight back for it own right to seft goverment. Let all khmer unite and fight for what all khmer belive!! VIETNAM HAVE NO RIGHT TO OWN KHMERKROM LAND! VIETNAMESE MUST GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR MOTHERLAND RIGHT NOW!!

People born in Kampuchea Krom have the right to be a Khmer included Vietnamese, Chinese and Champa descent.
if youn want to be friends with khmer, khmer must demand that they free the khmer krom people. otherwise, don't bother be friends with khmer because khmer krom are khmer people which happen to be governed by youn country. khmer krom want independence and our khmer lands back to cambodia. otherwise, don't be friends with cambodia because we don't want to be youn friends, ok!
