After the Phnom Penh municipal court issued its verdict against SRP MP Mu Sochua, whose parliamentary immunity was lifted by the National Assembly, and it declared that she lost in the defamation lawsuit brought up by Hun Xen, Mrs. Mu Sochua indicated that the court verdict was not based on the law, but it rather a political sentence.
Mrs. Mu Sochua told reporters on Tuesday morning, following the court verdict ordering her to pay a fine and a compensation to Hun Xen for a total amount of 16.5 million riels, that in the decision handed down by the Phnom Penh municipal court, the judge did not use her conscience nor the law to judge this case for her.
Mu Sochua said: “Today’s decision of the PPenh municipal court is a decision which I can see clearly that it was done according to an order issued by politicians, and this decision turned the innocent people into those who are sentenced instead.”
Mu Sochua added that the decision is political and it is not based on the law, and she said that the verdict is not one provided by a fair tribunal at all. The court decision is ordered by people in the high echelon. She said: “I regret very much that I did not receive justice in front of the law because the judicial system in Cambodia is not independent and neutral, and it is filled with influence from those politicians in power.”
She added: “A fair trial is an important goal that must be defended by a lawyer of my choice, not one who is pressured by politics. Therefore, the sentence handed down earlier is not one stemming from a trial, it is only an order issued by a politician. The sentence in which I lost while I am a victim is not acceptable by me.”
She said: “I demand justice. My stance remains the same, as long as I do not receive justice, I will continue to fight for justice. The court injustice and the political travesty of the judicial system affect so many innocent Cambodians, for a very long time already.”
Mu Sochua added that even if the SRP agrees to pay her fine, she still continues her case in court until she receives justice, and this justice is not only just for herself, but it is for all the population.

The verdict is out; the guilty one must respect the court's decision whether you like it or not -- it's the law -- and the court has found her guilty. Therefore, if she does not accept the court verdict, she's not respecting the law of the country. After all, she's one of the law maker (how ironic?).
The judge was judicially interpreted the law--not legislate from the bench. Therefore, it is not ignominiously to acknowledge the guilt, since the culprit one was the one who perpetrated this act.
PPU
See, as I said 10 days ago that "If the Court found the disgrace Mu Sochua not guilty, SRP and its stupid supporters will applause that the Court is independent and impartial, by contract, if the same Court found the disgrace Mu Sochua guilty, SRP and its supporters will point their fingers blame to the Court". Now, it becomes the reality. So, as long as Cambodia's court doesn't give any verdict which is disgrace Mu Sochua wanted, SRP and its supporters will condemn to the Court no matter what they have broken the laws in Cambodia.
If the disgrace Mu Sochua is brave as she always said all along that, she's happy going to jail rather than pay the fine, she should honour her word and don't need to pay fine 16.5 Million Riel and let see what will happen??
In my view, I am sure that she will pay the fine and uses SRP's policy which wants to end this defamation case as an excuse to cover up her coward act.

Down the Kangaroo Court...
I agree with the conclusion that although CPP won the court, but it lost the political reputation, and that would have a repercusion after all.
PPU is one of the administrator of KI Media. So be careful of its words which have the expection of generating the adverse effects.
PPU is in SRP but act to divide Khmer. Good on you, I want to see Khmer vanish from the World Map too.
Lady Mu Sochua!...please get your face out of this site. You aint' win the court. Get your White Husband to help you and your people who supported you. I thought you are in Cambodia to work under the SOM RAINSY' party and serve the country, and later on you cause problem with Samdech Daychu Hen Sen. This is because of little things of Samdech’s addressed during the conference. People always make mistake no matter what. Samdech Daychu he has the power, I always like the way he presented and speeches. You think you are Perfect and only one brilliant woman in Cambodia. You can fight what you want. You think you can get the power from your supporter. I don't think it'll last. Get your ugly face out of here and Cambodia. For those who support her in abroad, why don’t you go to help her win the case? Com’ on let go to Cambodia to help her. This is because you feel so painful and unfair to her case. Also, for those who feel that Samdech Daychu Hen Sen is a dump ass, I would suggest you should run the country instead. Right? Get your Lady Mu sochua out would you ?
AngkorianMan Krama Man
Do like I do - do not give a shit about ah PPU. End of story!
it's so ironic; mu sochua said it's all politics in the court, yet and sam rainsy declared it's his party's "political victory" despite losing the court's ruling. how ironic is that? it doesn't make sense when you think about it, does it?
Ah Youn dog hun sen Kamaru will eat ppu mother pussy.
