Thailand’s chief air marshal, Itthaporn Subhawong, will come to Cambodia next week to meet high-ranking military commanders, following reports that Thai aircraft had crossed as deep as 30 kilometers into Cambodian territory.
The commander of Thailand’s air force will be accompanied by 30 senior officers when he visits Sept. 14, defense officials said.
Thai fighter jets have reportedly flown into Cambodia three times over Pailin province recently, and a reconnaissance plane more than 10 times in the area near Preah Vihear temple, where a military standoff is underway between the neighbors. Prime Minister Hun Sen has warned he could order such flights shot down.
Nevertheless, Cambodian military officials said Itthaporn’s visit would be one of cooperation.
“This visit is very important for the Cambodian and Thai air forces to exchange their experiences with each other and to strengthen their cooperation,” said Chhum Socheath, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense.
Itthaporn is expected to meet with Cambodian Defense Minister Tea Banh, Pol Saroeun, commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, and Sin Samnang, commander of Cambodia’s air force.
The delegations “may raise the problem of Thai jet fighters violating Cambodian airspace,” Chhum Socheath said.
Thailand has written official apologies for the violations, claiming they were due to the presence of dark clouds over the border.

they better do more than apologize! we want compensation for khmer displacement and disturbance of peace of khmer people along the border! let's use the law against siem, now! it's a start!

Thai comes to Cambodia to make an assesment of a target where Hun Sen is living, hidding, so that they can send a jet fighter to hit right on his head instead of waiting lightning to strike him this rainny season. Furthermore, they come to spy Cambodia while they fly over Cambodia to Phnom Penh.
Hun Xen has warned thai in the past. But now Thai has tried and nothing happened to thai aircrafts.
Hun Xen can do on Khmer people only but not foreigners.
Why khmer have such as LEADER.
Ah Khmer Generals with Phd. from Hanoi afraid of ah Thais. Hun Xen has already warned ah Thais many times in the past and threated to shoot down the aircrafts, but nothing happened yet. Have ah Gen. w/ Phd. from Hanoi learned anything from ah viet?
If Khmer had violated Thai airspace like that, we probably had been shot down and burns to toasty! Thailand slapped us in the face and pat our back and say, i'm sorry, when khmer people went to Thai village look for works, they shot couple people and say, i'm sorry, but when Thais crossing into khmer illegally, our govt' official treated them like royal family...?
I kind da felt regret that, we should had been, atleast shot one of their plane down, that's be nice!! after they've flown deep inside cambodia, 30 kilometers?? RADAR MALFUCTION MY ASS!!

we better stay cool rather then put the anger infron of us, war won't earn us anything. i think pm hun sen done is correct cambodia don't wanna spend any human life on this crape especially when we had adventag on internation law over siem, also we are to broke to wage war.

I don't agreed with your comment at all. In fact, Hun Sen is afraid from foreigner but for our Khmer people he has never delayed.That is not first time that Thailand did for our homeland, but x-times.
The question for this case is that:
1. Thailand look down us because they know exactly how is the capacity of Khmer air raid defenses (RRD),
2. Talking about the air supremacy (AS), Cambodia has no chance against Thailand, that is tha fact
3. Thailand has more F-15, F-16, F-18 and those guys are not down very easy like Hun Sen has belled.
One day we will have everythings like the Thais. It is just a matter of time. Thai depend on tourists and their ally in United States. The tourists see enough Thailand and they will start to want to see something news like Cambodia country. And of course United States will want to work with Cambodia government because they are competing with China.
No execuse for the Thai, saying as it to cloudy to see on the radar over Cambodia land. They did this on purpose to intimade the Cambodians. Or they are just a stupid fighter jets.
If you think you're better than Hun Sen, why don't you run the country, ah rorleay!
