BANGKOK, Sept 6 (TNA) -- Foreign Affairs Minister Kasit Piromya is expected to inform the Thai public regarding the Thai-Cambodian negotiation framework, especially regarding the disputed ancient Preah Vihear temple, on state television Monday, said Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.
During his weekly radio and television broadcast, Mr Abhisit said that details of international negotiation frameworks approved by both houses of Parliament last Wednesday were numerous and that the foreign affairs minister needed to explain them on television.
Thailand’s stance in relation to the disputed temple after it was awarded UN World Heritage status remains unchanged, Mr Abhisit said, and the government would put every efforts into preventing such a problem from occurring again.
Troops of both countries remain deployed near the temple. Thailand is finding ways to negotiate to meet the agreement made in 2000, said Mr Abhisit.
Tensions between the two neighbouring countries flared in July 2008 when the temple was awarded UN World Heritage status. Although the World Court ruled in 1962 that it belonged to Cambodia, the most accessible entrance is in Thailand’s northeastern Si Sa Ket province.
Cambodia uses a French colonial map to demarcate the border, which Thailand says favours Cambodia. Thailand relies on a map drawn up later with American technical assistance.
Mr Abhisit said the 2000 agreement calls for a negotiation process and that both countries must refrain from changing the environment of the disputed area in way which could affect the other party’s rights.
The government is not remaining idle as it could affect the country’s sovereignty, the prime minister added.

in the end border dispute between cambodia and thailand is going nowhere. thais are not to be trusted they have been manipulating the issue too long. But it is clear that the thais have been encroached into Cambodian territory every time. do not negotiate with them siams.
2:29 AM
You have no choice, but to negotiate with them.
There is no way PM Hun Sen will be stupid enough to risk his power by creating conflicts with them and besides Cambodia is currently in no position economically and militarily to challenge them by force.
It is too bad for our country. We have had too many internal conflicts and made even much weaker by the KR regime so we can talk loudly, but the reality is we are still much weaker than them in term of number, money and materials.
Also we can't afford another war!
To 2:58 AM
Don't you nail Cambodia down, we were weaked, now we are not a weaker country. Stupidity by saying Cambodia is weak. You are so stupid. Sure! we can go to war with Ah Thailand. Fuck off 2:58 AM
Abhisit is a power grabber just like Hun Sen.
As every body knows, Thailand can not be trusted.
By using delay tactic, it creates new game from one to one in all means of soft way and hard way.
Now we see that the stance of Thailand regarding the border issues with Cambodia is still unchanged.
The Thai parliament and senate just approved to allow the Thai border committee do negotiating with neighboring countries only
WHAT THAI DOES WITH OUR BORDER, IS A SUFFICIENT REASONS FOR KHMER LEADERS FOR TAKING IT IN TO HIGH CONSIDERATION. DO WE STILL GO ON EXISTING MEANINGLESS BILATERAL RESOLUTION OR FIND ANOTHER WAY IN MULTILATERAL MECHANISM?
To 2:58 AM.
Your statement is correct with Hun Xen Gov.(DICTATOR) that work for Thai and Youn.
However, for other Khemera (inside & outside cambodia), Khmer is stronger than ever.
FUCK THAILAND......!!
Who need to fear the Siem bastard? For those stupid Cambodian who afraid of the Siem bastards and I suggest that they need to go live in Thailand!
To those stupid Cambodian who bullshit as if the Siem bastards have unlimited supply of weapons...tanks, jet fighters, ships, and soliders don't shit about the art of war! ahahaha
Hey, if the Siem bastards think that they are super rich and they can buy themselves a war and let them!
As far as I am concerned about the negotiation with the Siem bastards is over! There is nothing to negotiate because the Siem bastards have nothing to negotiate! Khmer Phrea Vihear temple doesn't belong to the Siem bastards so for the Siems bastards to use Khmer Phrea Vihear temple for negotiation is to confirm that the Siems bastards are a fucken thieves!
Who want to negotiate with a fucken a thief, a terrorist, a child molester, killer...
Abhisit Vejjajiva! You are about my age and you may have alot of knowledge from the textbooks,but I have some truth knowledge from live experiences.
I believe if you are go back to ancient time from the beginning of khmer empire.Maybe your ancestor is one of us.(Khmer)
The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,but through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.

Hi, all local and oversea Cambodian,
as we are all Cambodian, pls do not waste our time anymore to criticise each other and fight with our own people perself.
As Cambodian, we all must be proud and optimistic due to the fact that Camboida is one of the wonderful nation in the world in terms of culture, tradition, honest, patience, hard work, bravery, ....etc.
Therefore, if you agreed with me, pls let me say that from now on, we should put our interests infront firs and classify them into priorities and best idea/suggestion options for taking considerations in the stages of current and future policy spaces:
1- As Khmer/Cambodian, we should unite as one voice to fight against foreign encrouchment/agression/interests;
2- As Khmer/Cambodian, we should stop criticise individual person, we should name and colour each other;
3- As Khmer/Cambodian, we should express opinion in a maner of morality, respect to press code, and judgement/assessment shoud be besed on data collection, survey, research, proof......etc. Of course, even for some curcumstances, prerogative way may be used. However, sometime I would suggest that it shoud be not used and based too much on what we think perself rather than what we present as a majority think.
4- As Khmer/Cambodian, we should publish or disseminate information that would be usefull and valuable to the interests of public, local, oversea patriots, and foreingers. Information provided should be a such of felse or exxagerated information that lead to conflict of interests between supporters and oppositors and especially; as result, it also misleads to perceptions of foreigners, thenbad images and it turns out into wrong judgement and leads to exsposure the images per self. Consequency, we lose opportuinties, chances, and ......etc., and then foreign may take opportunities/chances from our weekness.
5- As Khmer/Cambodian, we must commit ourself and ready to devote our resouces (capital, human, finance, encouragement..etc) and sacrify of our life to our nation and people.
Frankly speaking, I am very impressive as I seen some of friends have done very good comments and suggestion about how to improve domecracy, defend the country, deal with poverty alliviation.........etc. However, I rarely seen the comment how to improve economy, trade, negotiation skills, social issues....etc, that inputs would help Cambodia in general.

Information provided should not be a such of felse or exxagerated information that would lead to conflict of interests between supporters and oppositors. Aand especially; as the result, it also misleads to the public and perceptions of foreigners because such wrong news may turn out into foreiners's wrong judgements, then lead to exsposure of bad images about Cambodia (we made and created ourself). Consequency, we lose opportunities, chances, interests, and ......etc., and then foreign countries may look down us and take opportunities/chances from our weekness; and
5- As Khmer/Cambodians, we must commit ourself and ready to devote our resouces (capital, finance, material, intellecual/brain, encouragement, motivation....etc)., and sacrify of our lifes to our nation and people. Frankly speaking, I am very impressive as I seen some of friends have done very good comments and suggestion about how to improve domecracy, defend the country's interests, deal with poverty alliviation such as ideas of transfering money back home to help families, relatives or country, express opinions to defend our nation from foreign aggression, and advise the government,......etc. However, I am very sad, while I see only small number of people always have negative and black or dark views about Cambodia that those will never be helpful to our country and people at all.By the way, since I rarely seen, may I suggest and encourage all of u to provide or share your encoutered experience about how to improve economy, trade, negotiation skills, social issues....etc, in which those ideas,sugguestions/recommondations/inputs would help Cambodia alot in general.
In conlusion, as we are now living in this modernized society, hi-technololy, free and fair trade/competition,nondiscrimination,....etc., we should stop expessing unimportant, felse, exxagerated and useless news/information that would mislead and then indirect or direct impacts to people and society, in particularly; our current chilrend or next young generation or even our Cambodian people as a whole. Incorrect news/information leads to big misleadings or misunderstandings. Therefore, negative impacts will be as follows:
- Conflict of interests;
- Creating gap, diversion, then it becomes difficulty/burdensome to break difference;
- Less chance to achieve common interest/goal/vision, then hard to get win-win solution; and
- Increase expusure of bad images about our country, then our people and country is in the position of losing, not foreign countries.

Sorry, due to the technical problem and time constraint, u may see one of my previous posting is missing some words. However, the above text is came with an edition.
Why Hun Sen withdrawal troops? if Thailand still control Ta Moan Temple, Ta Krabei Temple..? Thailand is win win! Khmer is losing current lands occupy by Thais soldier...
siem thugs, stop dreaming to stealing cambodia's preah vihear, ok! it never be yours in a gazillion years! no lame excuse is good excuse! get with cambodia's program!
Dear Neighbouring countries, we all need to learn to respect each others'boundary. In doing so is to keep its own citizens in place. It is not right to take advantage from one another. In fact it will do more harm than good. We all need to work together as a team. For example; creating a system like 'all for one and one for all'. Having common goal and common interest in term of caring, loving, sharing, respecting and protecting one another. Asian nations need to come together or otherwise we all be scatted everywhere and this could create another chao. Everyone's life is equally important, doesn't matter who they are or they come from. We must learn to accept one another and learn from the past mistakes about war and turn it into a positive learning outcome. In other words, making sure bad things will never happen again. We all must use diplomatic dialogue not in such a language that may affects one another or it will show such a low life...We all need to create a system of securiy for everybody. The freedom to love, share, travel and peace wherever you may go. Try to help each other out in time of need. We are living in the 21st century not in the year BC... If our neighbouring country gets into trouble, other surrounding neighbour should offer a helping hand...So, cheers fellow asian citizens, i miss you all. You may not know how important you all are to me. other saying "you don't know what you got until you lose it" or "Don't take life for granted", try to appreciate everything that you got around you. "help others and you get helps, love others and you will be loved". Sometimes it may not from the same person that you offered to but from the spiritual side of it. So long my fellow asian friends. I am far far away from home...cheers
