On 28 August 2009, Ms. Theary Seng met with Dr. Wolfgang Thierse, Vice-President (and former President) of the German Bundestag (German Parliament). The meeting was documented on films for 2 documentaries: one for the Khmer Rouge Tribunal using Theary Seng's life, and another for a half hour TV international program on the recent crackdown on democracy in Cambodia, highlighting her removal from the Center for Social Development (CSD) via politically-motivated court injunction. During her meeting with Dr. Thierse, Theary Seng informed him on the current crackdowns in Cambodia.
