Subject: Request for action from the Cambodian General Consul in Prey Nokor to help resolve Khmer Kampuchea Krom issue
As indicated in the subject above, I am informing His Excellency that, according to information provided by Khmer Kampuchea Krom, recently, in Ang commune, Tinh Bien district, Motr Chrouk province, Kampuchea Krom, a canal measuring 50-meter wide and 10-km long was dug. This construction led to the loss of more than 400-hectare of rice field lands, and 400 families are currently facing the loss of their lands. The pain from the land loss led 40 Khmer Kampuchea Krom to protest and demand for justice. Regretfully, the [Vietnamese] provincial authority ordered forces comprising of 330 to 350 soldiers and 230 police officers who brought along with them 5 vicious dogs to threaten and savagely put down the [protesting Khmer Krom] people. The report indicated that the number of Khmer protesters was small, whereas the authority disposed of an excessive force. Such an action [taken by the Vietnamese authority] indicates that there was a violation of human rights, and a takeover of lands belonging to the Khmer people, the original owners of the land. Furthermore, these Khmer people who are facing the loss of their lands, they are expecting an immediate intervention from the part of the Cambodian government.
As indicated above, I urge Your Excellency to send the Cambodian Consul in Prey Nokor to investigate this case and help resolve this issue in the interest of our own Khmer people.

It makes me vomit every time I hear all the Khmer sam-ach (es?)!
I believe that this article is most accurate about the current situation about Cambodia. I too know of Hun Sen evil sins. He murdered people during the Khmer Rouge era. HUN SEN stage A SCHEME TO KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE TO ANGER BOTH HANOI AND POL POT to fight each other so he can use them both to gain power.
I believe that someday HUN SEN will be put to KR TRIAL. MY PARENTS KNOW WHAT YOU HENG SAMRIN AND HUN SEN DID IN 1979. THAT WHY WE RAN AWAY. MASS MURDERERS AS MOST KNOW HE tell people me HUN SEN GOOD, BUT ONLY FOR YOUR MONEY AND WIFES PANTS.
ALSO HUN SEN WAS PEEPING TOM AT A GIRLS TAKING BATH THATS WHY HIS EYE WAS POKED BY KHMER ROUGE LEADERS AND HE EXAGGERATED THE STORY PORTRAYING HERO AND ALL.
Wonder this letter reached to Ho 5 Hong. Even though, Ho 5 Hong is Vietnamese by blood, so he will not do anything to against his own government (Vietnamese government).
Good luck Khmer Krom ! You must fight for your rights and don't expect that the current puppet Cambodian government will brave enough to standup to support you unless Cambodia is a totally independent country which is not now.

keep making a lot of voices for indigenous khmer krom people. if you are silent, nobody will hear or understand your cause of concern or issues with abusive youn gov't. keep on fighting for your rights. god bless.
now that more youn companies are interested in doing businesses in cambodia, use that opportunity to pressure them to confirm to the human rights and rights of the indigenous khmer krom people everywhere. make it well known all over the world, really! silence is not good!
Mr Yont Tharo is brave in writing this letter.....now the question is how long will Mr. Yont Tharo stay at his post as consulate or will have any role at all in the CPP government?
Every nation needs to learn to respect each other's boundary. In doing so is to keep its own citizen in place and at the same time to prevent war from happening again from both sides. Neighbouring country, please to the right thing for the "righteous will live forever and the wicked will pay the price" because everything has its own owner, so if you take what is not yours in the first place, the spirits won't allow you live in peace on that land, if so nature will strike you down in many different ways like, cyclone, lightning or other sickness etc, so be aware this is true. However,you need follow the country's law if you want something, e.g. be part of the its citizen and stay as one of them. E.g. if you want to live Khmer land than be Khmer or if you want to live in Viet's land then be Viet....
