On 28 October, the Appeal court upheld the lower court verdict in the defamation lawsuit brought up by Hun Xen against SRP MP Mu Sochua. Mrs. Mu Sochua lost her case in the earlier verdict handed down by the Phnom Penh municipal court. Mrs. Mu Sochua told reporters, following the announcement of the Appeal Court verdict, that she will pursue her case to the Supreme Court and that she will not stop it here.

Unfortunately internal mechanisms have been controlled by element of impunity or corruption or nepotism.
enforcement of viet control and integration made ot more difficult, but these will die down at their own accords.

If the king starts to hear citizens sufferings, then assistance from NGOs and international communities, donors will be effective.

Mu Xochua & Xam Rainsy know that the court is controlled by CPP, but why still waste the time for it? Do something else that more important for the people!

4:48, you idiot, you should help your mother wash the dish, don't jut come out wiht your ignorance. This case is not about nationalism, idiot! it is about a politician fooling an idiot like you that she loves a country and want to change it.

6:14, I agree with you. but she want to show other people that cambodian court is controlled by Hun Sen. But, she already made the point when the court convicted her. It is too much of a political play. She can spend her time working with people; it is better that way.

I think she should go all the way if she has a chance. This is about her right as a citizen. Win or lose is another issue.

No matter how it gonna turn out,
she gonna be remember and respected. And hun sen regime and his supporter gonna be remembered as no better than pol pot.

The future looks glimpse for Mr. Sam Rainsy, and the his chance of winning any election is next to zero.

By devoting his entire times and efforts criticizing PM Hun Sen government, Mr. Sam Rainsy has lost sights of his main leadership role - building strong party and develop a geniune political platform. Criticizing CPP does NOT make SRP look better, especially when you overdo it.

Recently PM Hun Sen scores a major point on his foreign policy of supporting Mr. Thaksin. It shows that Mr. Hun Sen has the ability to foresight what's coming and make the best decision for it, an attribute that opposition leaders including Mr. Rainsy have been unable to demonstrate.

The days for the current Thai King are counted, and the odds are with the red-shirts. Several key Thai individuals, including ex-generals, ex-priministers and business leaders, are openly or secretly switches their allegiance to the King and are joining the red-shirts. PM Hun Sen’s public support for Mr. Thaksin is a wise move for Cambodia.

To some people in this forum who think Mrs. Mu Sochuo should give up the fight because it's a waste of time.
Then, please answer this question:
We all know the viets are stealing our Land everyday, should we stop fighting because it's a losing proposition ?

Why she keep hitting herself like this? It's not going to do her any good? just let it goes, doing something else to help people instead....

Mu Shochua can go alway to US supreme courts, it doesn't matter, she's not going to win...

12:23AM - That is absurd! Mrs. Mu Sochua is not a country and Cambodia is not Mu Sochua.

Khmer should be United and help PM Hun Sen growing Cambodia instead...

You said Mrs Mu Sochua is not a country, it's obvious she's not. The point is she keeps on fighting for the hearts and minds of the whole country. I believe that 'hearts and minds' should prove more powerful a weapon than brute force used by PM Hun Sen. Think about it.

People has suffered enough already. Politicians always claim to fight for the nation interests before they came to power. But once they get the power, they rob the nation and torture the people.

Please put an end to our internal dispute and conserve our energy to fight the yuons and siems.

Well at least now she will make sure that she doesn't make statements about people that aren't true. If she didn't understand what Defamation means, she does now so hopefully she limits her political rhetoric to true statements of fact.

Perhaps now she will have the time to devote to the job she was elected to do.

You seems to think that criminal (Hun Sen) helping criminal (Thaksin who is a fugitive from justice) "scores a major point on his foreign policy of supporting" criminal.

This show that you are a Khmer Rouge supporter.

Democratic Kampuchea Pol Pot Khmer Rouge Regime and Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime are responsible for killing almost two million innocent Khmer peoples and counting.

Tell me if I'm wrong.

And about Sam Rainsy criticize Hun Sen,
You are wrong.

When no one in the world criticize Hun Sen; Hun Sen have no fault.

When no one in the world prosecute Hun Sen; Hun Sen have no criminal conviction.  Therefore, Hun Sen is an innocent man.  No matter how many innocent Khmer peoples Hun Sen had murders.

According to DC-CAM, Hun Sen and his Khmer Rouge Unit when to the hospital, slash throat of critically injure patiens and throw grenades at them.

The samething with Hor Nam Hong.

Hor Nam Hong is a prison chief of Boeung Trabek Prison.

There are 196 prisons in Cambodia.
There are almost two million innocent Khmer peoples was kill by Khmer Rouge.

According to Hor Nam Hong, he is not Khmer Rouge, he never kill anyone, he said in fact members of his family was kill by Khmer Rouge.

According to DC-CAM, Hor Nam Hong is a prison chief of Boeung Trabek Prison.

Disgrace Mu Sochua’s problem all along, is that she is trying to be a politician. She's not, never has been and quite obviously, never will be. She should have just been herself, provide alternative policies and show Khmer people what a great alternative MP opposition she would be. Instead, her foray into being a politician has been a disaster. She comes across as pretending to be something she's not. Now, her political career is on the line and herself also in the hot water.

While the nation is facing complex economic, social and environmental issues disgrace Mu Sochua tried to promote her political stunt, aimed to get media attention. If this wasn’t such a clear demonstration of her selfish pursuit of personal ambition it would be laughable. There is no doubt that Mu Sochua has no real regard for the best interest of the nation. She is driven solely by a desire to become a “Champion of Women or new Aung San Suu Kyi” by any means available to her, even if that has the potential to destabilize the country. Even worse she is going to appeal her case against Prime Minister Hun Sen to the Supreme Court despite the Appeal Court upheld her conviction as the verdict which has issued by the Phnom Penh municipal Court.

People of integrity admit their faults, make amends and are judged fairly...Disgrace Mu Sochua is lacking in integrity and common sense and tries to change Cambodia into her own world. As long as Cambodia’s Court doesn’t issue any verdict which is fitted for her political stunt, she will scream for the justice all day long.

No matter what she’s crying out to ask the US Congress to intervene with the Cambodian Parliament to re-instate her immunity back, but not much the US Congress can do. Indeed, she unabashedly criticized the Cambodian government and the Cambodian Parliament in front of US Congressmen on 10 September 2009, will put her even worst situation let alone ever get back her immunity.
