I'm not saying that there are no "real" poor beggars in Srok Khmer, but you can't deny either that there are "professional" beggars as well. Obviously, the long protracted war destroyed our fabric of moral values. We need to bring our dignity back.

the question doesn't make sense! i know, we have to distinguish between the professional beggars and those who are truly in need of assistance. since the dark age of the KR that destroyed cambodia's society, there seems to be a blur line between the two. i mean if people are truly poor and helpless and have evidence that show they are sick and poor and in desparate needs of care and help and if they are obvious like the handicapped, the disabled, the mental problem, etc, then we all can understand and refer them to get help, etc., however, the professional beggars are something else, really. and to be fair to cambodia, one can find beggars anywhere on the planet in any country, really! so, stop being bias with cambodia, ok! it's not right!

Samdech Ta does not have much...China provides Samdech Ta 300,000 USD per year which he uses to build schools, water ponds, and buy rice for poor Khmers throughout the country. Samdech Hun Sen is on par with King Bhumibol of Thailand whose wealth exceeds 36 Billion USD.

King Sihanouk is the poorest King, but he live in more secure and luxery than the Thai king! and Camodian are in slavry and constant fear of Ah Kwack and Vietnamese prison, because King Shihanouk sale them to evils, so he can Shisranouk (live good without money in the bank)
