Burma not happy with Hun Sen [... and Thailand is even more furious with Hun Xen]

26/10/2009
Bangkok Post

Burmese people are not pleased that Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen likened fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra with their opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

After arriving at Hua Hin Airport to attend the15th Asean Summit on Friday, Prime Minister Hun Sen told reporters that the ousted premier was a victim of political persecution like Nobel Peace Prize winner Suu Kyi.

His comment caused a group of Burmese politicians, students and villagers to gather near the Thai-Burmese border at Tak's Mae Sod district on Monday morning.

"Suu Kyi, who has been under house arrest for 14 years, is an unconditional fighter for democracy, has never thought of fleeing the country and is not fighting for personal interest. She cannot be compared with Thaksin," a Burmese student said.

Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya's secretary, Chawanon Intharakomansut, said the Foreign Ministry had not asked the government to consider downgrading its diplomatic ties with Cambodia in response to Prime Minister Hun Sen's comment that his country would not extradite Thaksin.

"We'll have to observe Cambodia's stance for now after Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva called on the Cambodian premier to reconsider this issue carefully and focus on bilateral ties and benefits to both countries instead of one person's personal interest.

"The Thai government would find new measures to bring back Thaksin to Thailand if the Cambodian government refuses to extradite him," he said.

If this is not an internal politics, this is a good sign for us, and let's hope for the best, which means Ah Sen must be toppled.

Talking too cheap. How would you topple Hun Sen?

I don't know Why we never learn a lesson from the past. In 1960s Sihanouk wanted to get something out of helping Northern Vietnam. At the end of the day what did he or Cambodia get from this engagement? Catastrophe to Cambodia?

Now Hun Sen wants to follow it. Think twice and mutiply by 2.

Since you brag to know how to solve the problems between Cambodia and her hostile neighbors, you ought to be the leader. If you cannot do the job under those cirsumstances, you should be beheaded.

11:57 AM,

The power is in Cambodian hands not ah kwack...the Cambodian people need to elect the leader that smart, clever, and comprehend politics both national and international. Ah kwack is good for doing NOTHING! Burma might be a Dictatorial state but Burma is not living under anyone control....Why do Viet and Thail cannot conqure Burma because its leaders are smart and clever. Although I don't agree with their ruling style....as suppose to Cambodia, the Viet. has been coqured Cambodia since Tea Aung era....First, stupid Cambodian King Jayyetha the 2nd married to the Viet. girl....well, that is where Prey Nokor is laying today in Vietnam then Viet. leased Kos Kro Bei then later the Viet. has owned that..., the Viet. made this statement every Khmer life time WILL NEVER take Prey Nokor back...Today, Hun Sen works for ah Viet. Cong and signed illegal land treaty and also has leased land to Viet. what does tell you. You are absolutely correct, that Khmer leaders NEVER EVER LEARNED their lesson....Hun Sen now offers a top job to a fugitive? What else knong reoung ream ke? We, Khmer has never elected a leader that is truly represented us....and let alone the Country....that is why, we have always been living under some one else control. 1949, ah choy mar rai Bar Rang give Khmer Krom to ah Youn....what does it tell you and other khmers about Cambodian leaders.....? They are stupid shit....!

1:37 PM,

Well, Suu Kyi is a Democratic leader....fighting to install Democracy, freedom, liberty, and justice in Burma. Thaksin is a corrupted and convicted criminal...by Thai Higher Court. He is now a fugitive. For Hun Sen as Cambodian PM. to make such a statement......u see where I am driving at? Suu Kyi is a smart and an honorable leader....NOT A CRIMINAL!...for Hun Sen to make this comparison that angered millions of Suu Kyi's supporters and also already stired up an uneasy among Burmese leaders....U figure the rest....!

I am very happy about the whole things. I am very please to see Hun Sen stands up for our country and not being afraid to challenge with all sort of obstacles. I think it is great to have Mr Thaksin to help Hun Sen to run our country because he is very well educated person with a wealth of knowledge, skills and experiences. Having him as a co-worker along side with Mr Hun Sen is excellent!. The more we employ the educated people the better. I can see that Thai gov't has lost one of their most valuable assets and is very deeply regrettable. This can be a lesson for Thai gov't to learn and re-check before they can make another accusation against one of their own political leaders. To lose someone with a wealth of knowledge is a big loss. You cannot put any value on such profession. Mr Abhisit on the other hand wanting to eliminate Mr Thaksin because he knows that Mr Thaksin is a very intelligent man and could get his job back from him very easily ( a lot of Thai people are in favour with Mr Thaksin from 50-60%), so Mr Abhisit tries to request for Mr Thaksin to be extradited so that he can be eliminated for good. However, no political leader would give in without a fight. As long as Mr Thaksin still alive Mr Abhisit won’t sleep in peace but again what goes around will come around. I have some questions to ask Mr Abhisit, who you think you are to judge others base on their profession? And who will judge you? The entire good Thai people of cause! And when you take your armies to fight with the “unarm poor Khmer civilian”, what will the world think of you when you join with the human right agreement? I want you to think carefully while you are having your good seat, so do good or “karma” will get you, Mr Abhisit. Rule number 1) respect your neighbour’s boundary and nothing will happen to you and your people, Rule number 2) treat others just like you want to be treated and love others just like you want to be loved. I know that you still young and still have a lot to learn yet but if you have a good heart if really love humanity as should be than you can do anything. Aust

Ah choymray Hun Sen needs to stay away from somebody else business or faces retaliation from other countries. His Vietcong business is confined within the kingdom of Cambodia. Although, his comparison is
so stupid.

I hope Socheata will stand on Hun's head and piss over his body in protest for his stupid remark.

Sorry, Socheata, if you don't like it, have me do it, but I will stand on his penis and piss into his big mouth for a change.
