Civil society organizations expressed more or less the same opinion regarding Mrs. Mu Sochua’s decision not to pursue her defamation and cursing lawsuit against PM Hun Xen: they all indicated that it was because Mrs. Mu Scohua believe that the judicial system is not independent. Den Seyma reports from Phnom Penh city where he indicated that Mrs. Mu Sochua’s decision to drop her lawsuit stems from the fact that, on Monday 12 October, the Appeal Court upheld the decision of the lower court in her lawsuit case.

A number of human rights organizations in Cambodia are more or less of the same opinion that the decision made by Mrs. Mu Sochua not to pursue her defamation and cursing lawsuit against PM Hun Xen stems from the fact the judicial system in Cambodia is not independent.

Chan Soveth, an investigation official for the Adhoc human rights organization, indicated that SRP MP Mu Sochua decided not to pursue her defamation lawsuit against PM Hun Xen to the Supreme court because she lost confidence in the judicial system, or that she could turn to an arranged resolution in the dispute instead.

Rong Chhun, President of the Cambodia Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA), is also of the same opinion.

Mrs. Mu Sochua said that she will not pursue her appeal to the Supreme court because the decision made by the Appeal court prosecutor to drop her case shows that the judicial system lacks independence. Therefore, if she pursues her lawsuit to the Supreme court, the decision will remain the same. On 04 August 2009, the Phnom Penh municipal court declared that she lost her case to Hun Xen’s lawsuit and it ordered her to pay 16.5 million riels in fine (~$4,100).

I agree with Madame Mu Sochua's decision because she's already WON in the Court of Khmer and international PUBLIC OPINION.

Can't expect Khmer Rouge influenced Hun Sen's court to see eye to eye of legal prudence.Better for Mrs.Sochua to retreat and regenrate spirit of integrity and voice of the suppressed.
US is watching Cambodia closely now.

Hun Sen believes he's invincible. But nature works in mysterious way. Look at example of Pol Pot in his last few months before his death. Ta Mok and Sary turned on him and wahted him gone.

By now Hun Sen can't go to piss without looking over his shoulders constantly.

Look at Mu Sochua's mouth, it's big and really good in sucking her white man's penis. Her face is so thick and look like Vietnamese's hooker.

To be honest, I have never seen any hooker who is ugly like Mu Sochua's face at all. Why her face is so thick and ugly??

There is no any plastic surgeon can fix her ugly face at all.
