The Khmer temple of Preah Vihear and its surrounding land belong SOLELY to Cambodia as per ICJ verdict rendered in 1962. Period
We Khmer have a long history than others Countries in this parts of the Southeast Asia, included Thailand and Vietnam. And sure the Khmer society is also more developed on all fields, than the today Thai society. Of course, Thai adopted many Khmer Cultures, but you still not have the same character, behavior and the way of thinking as the Khmer born.
From 1962 to 1970, you Thai are the one, decided with knowledge to close the border between Thailand and Cambodia. Not Thai, but many Khmer descents from both side had suffered from this voluntary decision.
Cambodia society are very open, friendly to other neighbors and we are also a multi cultural nation. Instead many internal and external problems, we Khmer have had in the last centuries, but we always try to keep good relationship to our neighbors.
Now stop to say, that you someway also are Khmer descent, because you always look down on your own Khmer ancestors. With your arrogant society, you can't do what ever you want, but can't change the history of Cambodia.
Freaking Thai's. Making a mockery of the situation. Explaing the history of Preah Vihear as if it was there. Where the fuck in history did they get from claiming that Preah Vihear belongs to them dumb fuck. That stupid professor talk as if the stupid motherfucking Thai king build it. They are now asking to take it back to having a common border. In other words, invisible line so that can keep encrouching. These motherfucking Thai professors. They must got their degrees from Vietnam too. I wonder if they have courses offered online? I would like a stupid degree too. This fucking Thai professors(?) is lighting up more nationalisms amongst themselves.
Professor Charnvit Kasetsiri is a living truth for the Cambodian people. He clearly states the lingustic influences of Khmer on the "real" Thai language and he clearly states based on documents that Preah Vihear belonged to the French IndoChina. I respect this honorable man for daring to talk the truth in the face of Thai nationalism.
I must congratulate professor Charnvit Kasetsiri for telling the trueth and daring to appeal the Thais people to respect international laws. I have also congratulate to Thais authority in here to allow professor Charnvit to speak out from his own knowledge. I would to call our Cambodian side to learn how to respect our professors too so that international communities will respect us a civilised Nation.

Pee Norng Kun Thai, I suggest that you stop enchroaching Cambodian sovergnty otherwise,...Professor Charnvit Kasetsiri's warning will come reality. Thai will HAVE no place to go....but to live under Khmer Empire...watch out...keep what you have and let the rest go back to the rightful owner....THAT IS KHMER!

Thai people must look back and don't twist the history, you should know the fact where you originaly came from. All temples in Thailand built by Khmer, Khmer lost a lot of territories to Thailand. Thai took Siem Reap and Battambang where Cambodia territory and then claimed to be your land, Thailand, later on Khmer took back and Thai cliamed that thailand lost territory of Battambang and Siem Reap to Khmer. And now, you're telling to Thai people to forget the past. It's okay to forget the past, but you, Thailand must know the fact that you are actually took Khmer land, looted Khmer treasurs and copied all Khmer culutres, traditions etc. We, Khmer know the fact regarding the history of Cambodia and South East Asia, we were first Khmer empire, Khmer Kingdom ruled which is present day Thailand and Loas.

ttiporn Left out so many historyical facts about the origin of Siamese? He told less than 1% facts, still trying to hidden the Truth from the world. He hid behind his PhD by fooling the world who who's the Siamese ancestry is!

I think it is a good start and it is the right approach by discussing and learning more about each other. The issue of Preah Vichear is the sole of Cambodia. Thailand will never take it away from Cambodia. The main issue for Cambodia with Thailand is not Preah Vichear but the invented Thai history books; that for years they have misled their children to think their neighbors are suckers and scumbags, and therefore these people are deserved to be mistreated, ridiculed, abused and sometimes killed.
My message back to them Thais. Khmers are not what they think we are... We were the people of high society, civilization and kingdom in the region long before any them Thais even exited. Cambodia shrunk not because we were losers, but because we trusted our enemies.
I agree with Anonymous 12:46 & 2:42. Professor Charnvit Kasetsiri did an honorable action and revealed concrete fact to the world and especially to the Thai people. He also mentioned to his own people (Thai) to respect the internation ruling and the truth fact of history. He also reached out to the Thai people not to (Lope) desire from a twisted history taught to believed that Preah Vihear is belong to them.
So, since Prof. Charnvit Kasetsiri (as a Thai nationality) make it clear to his own people that Preah Vihear belong to Khmer, this is a small step for us Khmer to keep going forward.
Next we will start with Koh Tral.

there's nothing to talk about preah vihear with siem thieves, ok. preah vihear temple and surrounding lands belongs to cambodia. siem thieves go back to nanchoa province of china, ok! stop stealing from cambodia. this is not the dark ages, ok!
thailand did not exist untill 1238 so please do not try to change the history of cambodia. it is ashamed that thai want preah vihear to be part of their own. thai has never loose any territory they actually had gained from cambodia.
