Kasit Piromya, the Thai minister for Foreign Affairs, told reporters that the Thai government will propose to ASEAN members to set up a mechanism to resolve the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand during the ASEAN meeting held at the end of October. If no change will occur, the ASEAN summit meeting will take place in Hua Hin, Thailand, on 22 October. Khieu Kanharith, Cambodia’s government spokesman, did not shown his reaction yet on this issue. He said: “We did not see this mechanism yet. How is this mechanism?” Nevertheless, the proposal made by Kasit Piropmya to put the border issue on the ASEAN discussion table came after Hun Xen warned that he would raise the border dispute problem at the ASEAN meeting if Bangkok still keeps on talking about the unilateral drawn map in which it showed that the 4.6 square km area surrounding Preah Vihear temple belongs to Thailand. Hun Xen rejected this unilateral map.

We have to wait and see what Cambodian Gov. can do for Khmer people.
We, Khmers cannot tolerate our enemies to stay much longer on our land. The Gov. must either use the Military to repel them or go to UN/ICJ. Forget about ASEAN
I have one question: How come PM Hun Sen is so quick to use force against fellow Khmers and so slow with Siam?

The answer is quite simple and you do know the answer very well.
With Khmers they can't fight back, but with the Thais, they may come all the way to Phnom Penh to get rid of him.

It's very stupid to fight each other as khmers with the same blood, i can't believe Hun Sen's Gov't still huants Meoung sonn, Mu Shohue, we all make mistake, just forget it and goes on....What about Thai black soldier who shot and burned our unarmed people alive? why can't we do something about it instead? this is why neighbors country encroach and swallowed our lands so much in the past, because Khmer busy fighting each other...

Every neighbour needs to respect each other’s boundary in order to keep its own citizen in place or otherwise if war occurs again, it will go into another chaos. We Asian nations need to find solutions for peace in order to protect our future generation from harm and finding ways to protect all individuals as well like; all for one and one for all and that everyone is equally important regardless who they are or where they come from. Asian nation needs to create an international security net to protect everyone who may travel to and from each other’s country. We Asian nation must reach a common goal and common interest for the best of our society e.g. if one nation needs help the rest must come together as one. We also need to use the system like European nations, creating a one currency of "Euro" or maybe we can call our currency as "Asiano or "Asian-mono". Just remember, the power of love, compassion, share, and respect can be conquered from all odds. Finally, don’t forget to invite other nations as our special guests as well. Aust
The damn siems are so fickle and hypocrite. When Cambodia was about to bring this border matter up with ASEAN and the UN before, these fools insisted that it should be handle bi-laterally. Now they themselves want to bring it up with ASEAN. These damn siems can NOT be trusted. If you let them guard your stinking shit, they might eat it too. That's how bad they are.
